My Parisian escapade kicked off with a thrilling Eurostar journey from Derbyshire, a whistle-stop adventure filled with the clickety-clack of the rails, glimpses of French countryside, and of course, a compulsory Pink Tutu photo shoot in the carriage (because, you know, life is just more fun in a tutu)! 😉
This time, Paris is all about ballet and fashion - a glorious fusion of my two great passions. My mission: to discover the vibrant world of Parisian ballet, soak up the chic vibes, and maybe even inspire some locals to embrace the pink tutu revolution!
Let me tell you, this week is packed with excitement! I'm kicking things off with a visit to the Musée Carnavalet, a historical treasure trove, to immerse myself in Parisian history. Afterwards, I'll be channeling my inner ballerina at a workshop in the iconic Palais Garnier, home to the Opéra de Paris. Talk about dreams coming true!
Saturday evening is dedicated to a show stopping experience - a ballet performance at the Théâtre du Châtelet, a glorious venue with exquisite acoustics and the most magical ambiance. Just thinking about the soaring leaps and graceful movements makes me tingle with anticipation.
Paris Fashion Adventures
But Paris isn't just about ballet; it's a fashion haven! Shopping, shopping, shopping...the mantra that echoes in every corner of this city! My eyes are already feasting on the delectable window displays, the sleek boutiques, and the oh-so-stylish Parisian women who are my fashion icons.
Expect plenty of Pink Tutu outfits in my Parisian adventures - from classic black and pink combinations to chic Parisian style, I'll be bringing you all the fun and fashion vibes of my trip. I’ve already bagged myself a gorgeous floral-print beret that looks oh-so chic with my pink tulle skirt - Parisian flair at its best!
A Pinch of Paris Magic
Honestly, walking through Paris, every street corner whispers a little magic, and I just can't get enough of this enchanting city. I can see myself living here for a while, a tutu-wearing Parisian princess. Imagine me twirling past the Eiffel Tower in a pink tutu with a bouquet of the most exquisite flowers. How très chic, oui?
Of course, no trip to Paris is complete without the most delectable Parisian treats: freshly baked croissants, creamy macarons, and delicious, rich chocolate. A balanced diet, I assure you. 😉 But it's not all pastries - there'll be picnics in the Jardin du Luxembourg, riverside walks along the Seine, and laughter-filled evenings enjoying the bustling café scene.

Week 2: Pink Tutu Travels in Paris
My darlings! The second week of my Parisian adventure is just bursting with beauty, elegance, and (of course!) pink!
Let's rewind a bit, back to that magical Parisian Ballet performance at the Théâtre du Châtelet. The stage was illuminated in a warm golden glow, showcasing the grace of the dancers who flew effortlessly, Their every step and gesture spoke of exquisite control and undeniable passion. I was entranced! Watching them in that glorious setting left me yearning for a similar level of artistic expression, which of course lead me straight to another dance class – this time in the very heart of Paris at the famous Opera Garnier!
Can you imagine? Me, surrounded by aspiring dancers, all sharing the love of the ballet, sweating, stretching, and of course, wearing my trusty Pink Tutu! I managed a few grand jetés, a bit of pirouette practice, and lots of laughter with the lovely French ballerinas, learning a few phrases in French too!
Speaking of learning, it’s all about taking in the beauty and historical richness of Paris. This week, I spent hours exploring the Musée Rodin, a glorious sanctuary showcasing the most stunning sculptures, all perfectly crafted with the finest detail.
Fashion Frenzy and Paris Panache
As always, Parisian fashion continues to inspire me, and the boutiques here have become my playground. This week, I’ve fallen in love with a little black dress from a vintage boutique, perfect for an evening of Parisian elegance. The lace details and flowing silhouette create a classic yet sophisticated look, it even complements my pink tutu perfectly for a twirling evening out in Montmartre, an iconic artists' district brimming with a Bohemian spirit.
Picnic Bliss and Café Culture
Paris is a city of captivating contrasts - grand monuments meet intimate cafes, elegant streets mingle with artistic hideaways. And for me, it's the perfect city for a charming picnic! The Jardin du Luxembourg transformed into a symphony of scents with fragrant blooms. The lush grass, punctuated with magnificent fountains, created the perfect setting for a relaxing Parisian afternoon, with croissants, champagne, and lots of pink!
I'm constantly captivated by the cafes here, their worn tables overflowing with stories, conversations, and the aroma of strong espresso and decadent pastries. It's where you observe the city come alive, hear the murmur of laughter and whispered secrets, all while sipping a hot chocolate. It's magical!
I've also embraced a little French street art this week - discovering beautiful murals in hidden alleys, whimsical graffiti gracing buildings. Paris is full of hidden surprises, and I'm soaking them all in!
