It’s Saturday, so it’s time for another #PinkTutuBlogParis update! The Parisian sunshine is filtering through my hotel window, creating the most magical light, and frankly, darling, it’s just getting me in the mood for a fantastic day of Parisian explorations!
This week’s journey started with a fabulous ride on the EuroStar from London to Paris – what can I say? There’s just something about that sleek train hurtling through the countryside that gets me feeling excited and empowered. Plus, I just love wearing a pink tutu on a train journey – it's just the most adorable way to travel!
Speaking of travel, I’m always getting asked how I manage to fund my globetrotting adventures. Well, darling, it’s all thanks to my passion for ballet! I give performances whenever I can, and each one takes me a step closer to a new destination. This trip to Paris is particularly special, as I'm here for a performance at the prestigious Théâtre du Châtelet, one of the most beautiful venues I've ever seen! I can't wait to share all the details of the show in next week’s post – it was just divine.
Anyway, back to today’s Parisian escapades! After a delightful croissant and café au lait, my to-do list includes a quick visit to the charming Palais Royal to admire the gardens and maybe catch a performance of street ballet (oh, those graceful steps!). I just adore how Paris embraces artistic expression in every corner!
This evening, my shopping radar is set on a must-visit boutique in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, famed for its fabulous selection of designer hats – think Parisian chic meets ballerina elegance, my absolute style icon! And then, the pièce de résistance…dinner! You know me, a girl needs her delicious pastries. There’s this enchanting patisserie tucked away on a quiet little street in Montmartre – the aroma of fresh almond croissants and macarons just pulls me in!
