#PinkTutuBlogParis - Post Number 1038: Paris, Oh Paris, How I Love You!

Saturday, 16th November 2019

Hello, darling readers! It's Emma, your pink-tutu-clad travel enthusiast, writing to you from the most magical city in the world: Paris! πŸ‡«πŸ‡· This week, I've decided to dedicate my #PinkTutuBlogParis to all things Parisian, with a little bit of me thrown in for good measure.

As you know, I absolutely adore taking the Eurostar. It's such a civilised way to travel - a delightful combination of speedy efficiency and glamour. You'd be surprised how many lovely tutu-wearing ladies I see aboard the train! There's a real sense of camaraderie among us twirling aficionados - a knowing smile across the carriage when we catch each other's eye, an unspoken agreement that life is a beautiful dance, even on a high-speed train. πŸš„

Once I arrived in Paris, I took a long, leisurely stroll through the city streets, a twirling tour de force in my latest pink tutu (naturally!) – it's a fabulous, feathered affair that makes me feel like I'm dancing on air!

My first stop was a visit to the iconic Moulin Rouge. I've been dying to see the Moulin Rouge for as long as I can remember. It was even more breathtaking than I ever imagined - a world of glittering costumes, dramatic performances, and infectious music that transported me back in time. Seeing the show made me realise just how powerful dance truly is. It speaks a universal language, captivating audiences with its beauty and its emotional depth. I even caught myself humming the music on my way back to the hotel - you see, the Moulin Rouge is just that captivating! πŸ’ƒ

I, of course, couldn't visit Paris without stopping by a few shops. I had a brilliant time perusing the latest designs at Galeries Lafayette, a truly spectacular department store brimming with all the Parisian elegance you could ever imagine. And you just know I couldn't resist treating myself to a few lovely little pink treasures. The pink hat with the huge bow for my head will be making an appearance on the #PinkTutuBlog very soon. I might have a little confession... a shoe box from Dior ended up in my suitcase. Oops! But it's just a little pick-me-up for all the long train journeys I'm planning next year, so I don't feel bad about it at all! πŸ›οΈ

I took a break from my shopping spree to sit by the Eiffel Tower. I watched the city come alive with light as the sun set. A Parisian dream! It’s one of the most beautiful views I’ve ever seen! It felt as though I was on top of the world, twirling with the lights.

And of course, a Parisian adventure isn't complete without indulging in delicious food! I enjoyed a scrumptious lunch at a little cafe just off the Champs-Elysees - flaky pastries, fresh salads, and divine hot chocolate! I even spotted a family with their adorable little girl who was wearing a pink tutu!

It's moments like these that remind me of the sheer joy that comes from embracing the world with a bit of pink tulle and a heart full of dance. I'm so grateful to have the opportunity to share my adventures with you, darling readers, and to inspire you to explore the world, dance your heart out, and spread a little pink joy wherever you go. ✨

Until next Saturday, remember: It's always a good time to put on your pink tutu and dance through life!

See you all on #PinkTutuBlogParis next week!

Lots of love,

Emma πŸ©°πŸ’–
