#PinkTutuBlogParis - Saturday 2020-01-25 Exploring Paris 🩰🗼✨
Hello my lovely pink tutu followers! 👋 It's your favourite Derbyshire ballerina blogger, Emma, back with another blog post straight from the heart of Paris! This is post number 1048, and what a journey it's been so far.
As always, my Paris blog goes live on Saturdays, straight from www.pink-tutu.com - a weekly dose of Parisian enchantment for you. It's a whirlwind of tutu-tastic adventures, fashion finds, and ballet bliss - all wrapped up in a pretty pink bow. 💖
Now, how did I get here? Why, the Eurostar, of course! My trusty, sleek, speedy train whisked me away to Paris from England, a smooth journey full of excitement, just like a scene straight out of a ballet performance. Speaking of, my next show is just around the corner, so I'm off to earn those travel funds with a graceful pirouette or two!
Paris: My Playground of Pink & PosingParis... ah, Paris! It truly is a playground for pink-loving, tutu-wearing ballerinas like myself! Everything seems a little bit more glamorous, a little bit more enchanting. The architecture, the streets, even the cobblestones, they're all designed to inspire dreams.
I landed in Paris just in time to experience the buzz of the Festival du Cirque de Paris! It was magical - so much colour, glitter, and grace. I even bumped into a couple of street performers, twirling their way around the streets in full tutus! Now that's my kind of Parisian scene!
The Palais Garnier: A Ballerina's DreamIt was on my list for a very long time and today was the day, I had to see it. The magnificent Palais Garnier - a magnificent monument of art, music, and of course, ballet! The home of the Opéra Garnier, it's a true masterpiece of architecture, both inside and out. Just gazing up at its grandeur makes you feel like you've stepped straight into a storybook.
Fun fact: The Palais Garnier features in Gaston Leroux's thrilling novel, The Phantom of the Opera. And you know, my love for the mysterious phantom isn't a secret... It wouldn't be the same if I wasn't going for a dramatic twist or two. 😄
Paris Shopping: A Ballerina's HeavenAfter my magical visit to the Palais Garnier, it was time for some serious fashion therapy. Now, if there's a shopping paradise on Earth, it has to be Paris! The Galeries Lafayette - oh, this iconic department store just takes your breath away with its dazzling array of brands, exquisite window displays and, of course, fashion in its every glorious form. I even treated myself to a beautiful new pink tutu - I just couldn't resist! The Champs-Élysées, well, that's an endless shopping boulevard of endless possibilities. The allure of high fashion boutiques, quaint little shops and dazzling designer window displays... It's a wonderland for any ballet enthusiast, or for that matter, any girl with a twinkle in her eye.
Speaking of twinkles, the Eiffel Tower, bathed in golden light, looked simply divine this evening! It was a fitting finale to a day of magic, beauty, and fashion in the city of lights.
My Pink Tutu Fashion AdventuresI wore the cutest ensemble for my Parisian escapade today, just for you, my lovely readers:
- A chic black ballerina skirt - flowy and effortlessly graceful.
- A sparkly pink tutu top - adding a playful touch of ballerina flair.
- A sleek, stylish black blazer - a sophisticated touch to offset the tutus.
- A pair of elegant ballerina flats - comfortable enough for exploring Paris on foot, but chic enough for the glamorous Parisian streets.
- A signature pink beret - perfect for keeping the Parisienne breeze away and adding a pop of colour.
- And, of course, a stunning, sparkling, pink tutu bag, which can be easily adjusted for all the amazing purchases I made.
And to finish off today's post, my dearest followers, a challenge for you! I dare you, just for one day, to wear a pink tutu - no matter what. It's a celebration of everything bold, beautiful, and fun. Go out there and embrace the pink tutu magic!
I can't wait to hear your stories and share my upcoming adventures with you in my next blog post. Remember, you can follow me on Instagram and Twitter for daily updates! Until next week, keep twirling and keep shining.
Au revoir, my lovely ballerinas! 🩰❤️
