Bonjour mes chéries! ?? It's Emma, your resident Pink Tutu Princess, here with another thrilling entry from the #PinkTutuBlogParis!
This week I took the Eurostar to the most magical city in the world, Paris! I swear, there's just something about this place that sets my heart aflutter. It’s like a fairytale, but one with an incredible array of chic boutiques and fantastic boulangeries! ?
But before we get into all that, let me tell you about my train journey. It was divine! I was decked out in a luscious blush pink tulle tutu, of course, paired with a perfectly fitting white blouse, and my signature pink-rimmed spectacles. It’s always fun to see fellow passengers admiring the pink twirl factor! I love feeling like a real-life ballet ballerina. ?
Speaking of ballerinas, the Eurostar is the perfect setting to break out your favourite ballet poses and dance your heart out! Everyone looked over in amusement when I attempted to recreate the “arabesque” mid-journey. It was glorious, trust me! ?
Arriving in Paris, I was mesmerized. It really is the City of Lights – twinkling cafes, breathtaking architecture, and the sheer beauty of the French countryside, just out of reach. ?
My first stop was, of course, a truly adorable Parisian boulangerie! Honestly, the scent of freshly baked baguettes is enough to melt your heart. I grabbed a baguette and some melt-in-your-mouth pain au chocolat – it was pure heaven! ?
But the main reason for my trip is for a truly special event happening here in Paris this weekend: The Paris Ballet International! You bet your bottom dollar I'll be twirling in the audience with a big, pink tutu to celebrate these wonderful dancers. I am just dying to see this prestigious performance, and can’t wait to share my observations with you next week!
After the show, it wouldn't be a #PinkTutuBlogParis without a shopping spree! Let’s just say my bags are packed with fabulous new treasures, all carefully selected from the most charming shops in Paris. I picked up the most amazing silk scarf adorned with delicate roses, some darling pink floral earrings for a special occasion, and, naturally, a new tutu. The colour is an absolute dream – like the pale pink of a Parisian dawn, and it just flows when you move!
But of course, no Paris trip is complete without indulging in some iconic Parisian treats. And for that, I knew I had to visit a quintessential Parisian cafe, where I enjoyed a cup of perfect espresso with a slice of classic French pastry. Every sip, every bite was perfection. ?
Later on, I went to explore some of the city's hidden gems. I am in love with this area. Every street corner reveals a secret - a romantic park, a hidden patisserie, an artist’s studio filled with colourful creations. It's like the world's most captivating maze. ?
This evening, I enjoyed a delicious traditional French dinner, filled with the aromas of herbs and cheeses, and accompanied by the sweetest of wines. Oh la la! ??
It’s all been utterly divine, you guys. The charm of the city, the fashion, the food, the artistry - it’s just what my pink tutu-loving heart craved! This truly is the perfect city to dance the day away.
Tomorrow, I'm planning on seeing a show at the iconic Moulin Rouge! If you’re visiting Paris, this is definitely a must-do, and even I, with my pink tutu obsession, have never experienced anything like it! The artistry, the glitz, the glam - it’s all so exhilarating. Stay tuned for my impressions next week. ?
So, until next time, stay pink, stay bubbly, and never stop dreaming, darling. I'll be back next Saturday with even more tales of my Parisian adventure. ?
Bisous, Emma ?
