Pink Tutu Blog - Paris: Bonjour from the City of Lights! (Post #1120)
Hello my darling tutus! Emma here, back from another fabulous adventure, this time landing in the most magical city in the world... PARIS!
You guys know I love to travel by train, and the Eurostar never fails to impress. Whizzing through the countryside, my mind racing with all the possibilities, was just the perfect start to this Parisian escapade. My pink tutu was certainly the most flamboyant thing on the train - which, let's face it, is never a bad thing. 💖
This week, I'm exploring the city with the intention of bringing you all the very best of Parisian delights. It’s so inspiring to be surrounded by such stunning architecture, delicious pastries and the most amazing street style. Of course, the city itself is practically a ballet - so elegant, flowing and brimming with artistic spirit.
What's on Today:Paris always has something fabulous happening, but this Saturday, my dears, there's a special event at the Opéra Garnier. The magnificent "La Bayadère" by Marius Petipa will grace the stage, a production I've heard so much about. Imagine the intricate sets, the beautiful costumes and the ethereal choreography. My tutu, you know, is ready to twirl along with the ballerinas on stage. 💃
Shopping with a Pink Twist:
Before I catch the ballet, I'm indulging in a little Parisian retail therapy. There's something so exciting about wandering through the beautiful boutiques on the Rue Saint Honoré. I’ve already got my eye on a pink feathered fascinator from the legendary Maison Michel - it's absolutely exquisite. I'm also hunting down the perfect little black dress, something with a bit of sparkle for my Parisian nights.
A Feast for the Senses:
This evening, I'm enjoying the true essence of Parisian dining with a delicious dinner at one of the famous bistros in the Latin Quarter. I hear they make the best steak frites in the city. After all, no Paris adventure is complete without indulging in a classic French meal, complete with a glass of crisp white wine. 🍷
Spreading the Pink Tutu Love:I wouldn’t be true to myself if I didn't try and encourage a bit of pink tutu magic while I'm here. Think pink tutus in front of the Eiffel Tower, tutus twirling on the Seine River, even tutus in the famous museums like the Louvre. Why? Because everyone should experience the sheer joy of twirling and feeling absolutely fabulous in a pink tutu!
* Stay tuned for more Paris updates, my loves! I'm sure I'll have more adventures, discoveries and beautiful moments to share in the coming days.*
Until next week, remember to always twirl your way through life! 💕
Lots of love,
Emma x
