Pink Tutu in Paris! 🩰🇫🇷 - Post #1121
Bonjour, darlings!
It's Emma here, reporting live from the City of Lights, Paris! Can you believe it's Saturday already? Feels like I just arrived yesterday! It’s time for your weekly dose of pink tutu travel adventures on the fabulous www.pink-tutu.com. This week's adventure? A trip to Paris, of course! And what better way to travel to the City of Love than by train, right? The Eurostar zipped me over from London to Paris in no time, and the scenery from the train window was absolutely stunning.
I’m officially smitten with Paris! Everything about it is so romantic and charming – cobbled streets, elegant cafes, beautiful buildings, the incredible history – not to mention all the divine fashion shops! And you know what goes with that, darlings? A PINK TUTU, naturally! 😉
Speaking of fashion, let’s chat outfits! Of course, my luggage was filled with the most amazing pink tutus for my Parisian adventures – because let’s be real, every day is a good day for a tutu!
Paris Fashion Diary
Thursday: For my journey from Derby, my home town in Derbyshire, England to London, I chose a sweet blush-pink tutu layered over a delicate white lace camisole and paired with my favourite pink ballet flats. Comfortable and stylish - what’s not to love?!
Friday: My first Parisian ensemble was a whirlwind of pink! I opted for a vibrant fuchsia tulle tutu with a contrasting powder-pink top, and finished the look with a sassy pink beret. My handbag was a charming vintage piece that matched my tutu perfectly – because accessorizing is key, darlings! I know I mentioned I travelled by Eurostar, but of course I went to see what fashion gems were on the journey! I am so proud to say I found a most fabulous pale pink leather Chanel handbag - it’s almost enough to justify the journey itself!
Saturday: This is my Parisian Saturday in pink! This morning I started with a super glamorous Parisian breakfast – a delicious pastry and a strong coffee in a quaint café, of course. What is more elegant and Parisian than sitting with your croissants and coffee while watching the world go by! I wore a sweet vintage-inspired pink tutu with a crisp white blouse, adorned with delicate pink ribbons and flowers – picture Parisian chic meets fairytale magic. Oh, and a big dose of my signature pink. 😉 I had an amazing photoshoot around the Eiffel Tower this morning and of course I will be posting more pictures later. I just have to say, a tutu really does make for the best pictures in Paris.
Pink Tutu in Paris - Shopping & Shows
But fashion is not the only thing Paris is famous for! There’s an amazing selection of dance shows, ballet classes and the opportunity to learn new steps in this truly beautiful city.
For my Saturday afternoon, I had a lovely, indulgent experience: I took a fabulous private ballet class. The teacher, a charming gentleman named Monsieur Durand, was absolutely incredible. He taught me some beautiful and elegant steps in a spacious, mirrored studio with fantastic acoustics. Monsieur Durand insisted on sharing his expert knowledge of French ballet and showed me a new sequence - something quite challenging for my “mature” muscles. Oh, did I tell you, the studio is in the most adorable little French theatre building that oozed old world charm. It felt as if I had walked straight onto the stage of my very own storybook ballet! The icing on the cake? After the class, we sat down for a traditional Parisian afternoon tea. It felt so quintessentially Parisian.
I'm so happy to have explored a different aspect of Paris with this experience! Of course, I was dressed to the nines in a fabulous pink tulle tutu, adding a little bit of "Emma" magic to my ballet adventures. The pink tutus are getting some real workout here – and this week has just been a wonderful excuse to experiment with different colours and textures of tulle – after all, pink comes in a thousand hues, darlings! And after all that Parisian excitement, nothing says relaxation like an evening of fine dining followed by a gorgeous ballet performance at the Opéra Garnier. The grandeur of the Opera Garnier just left me speechless.
My Top Pink Picks
While I've had a phenomenal time discovering the city, the Parisian pink scene has blown my mind! There are just SO many beautiful pink shops and boutiques here, that you can get lost for days! I just had to pick up some treasures to bring back home to Derby, because I simply had to get a few extra items! You guys know me, and I cannot resist a gorgeous pair of pink ballet pumps – they’re the ultimate “ballet chic” footwear. I also found the most stunning pastel pink tulle scarf to compliment my already existing pink tutu collection! You all know how much I love a pink accessory! But darling, I have a real surprise for you…I am now officially part of a new, wonderful collaboration with a stunning boutique in Paris and have a line of tutus arriving this week in my name… ‘Emma’s Pink Paradise’ is the shop. Now this is a little piece of Paris, coming to Derby, England very soon!
A Few Words of Wisdom
There's a reason why they call it the City of Lights – Paris truly is an inspiring city! You know, sometimes, I feel like life is all about seeking the magic, and here in Paris, you feel it at every corner. It’s in the romantic streets, the delicious food, the inspiring sights – even the chic fashion, of course! And the people, darlings, the people of Paris - so stylish, so sophisticated, they know how to enjoy life! It’s a good thing I have lots of pink tutus for every occasion!
If you are a big dreamer like me, my darling readers, and feel like dancing, this is a good start to follow your dreams, and even try wearing a PINK TUTU. I'll be sharing all about my Paris adventures, including photos and stories, all throughout the week. Stay tuned to my pink-tutu website for more updates.
