Pink Tutu Paris – Post 1123 – Saturday 3rd July 2021: A Parisian Adventure in Pink!

Bonjour from the City of Lights, my lovelies! Emma here, your resident pink tutu-clad ballerina, and today I’m bubbling over with excitement as I write this from the heart of Paris, the most romantic city on earth!

This week, I’ve been living a true Parisian dream – traveling by Eurostar (a wonderful, comfortable way to get around, I must say!), seeing spectacular shows, browsing in beautiful shops and, of course, twirling around in my favourite pink tutu (oh, it was made for Paris!) in some of the most magical settings.

It’s hard to believe that just a few days ago I was back in Derbyshire, practicing pirouettes in my ballet studio, surrounded by the calming sounds of the countryside. Now, I’m soaking up the vibrant energy of this incredible city! It truly feels like I’m living a scene from a fairytale – the beautiful architecture, the cobblestone streets, the charming cafes, and the infectious atmosphere, all combine to create a captivating sense of wonder.

As you know, I believe in the transformative power of the pink tutu, a symbol of joy, confidence, and freedom, and I’m determined to bring that energy to every corner of the globe – and Paris, with its love for fashion, artistry, and expression, was the perfect place to do just that.

My adventures kicked off with a delightful visit to the Grand Palais – it was simply magnificent! The stunning architecture and intricate details just took my breath away, and the sense of history that clung to the walls made me feel a bit like I'd stepped back in time. After exploring its grandeur, I wandered through the nearby Jardin du Carrousel – a green oasis of tranquility tucked away in the heart of the city – where I snapped a few photos of my pink tutu twirling in the Parisian sun (I’ll be sharing them soon!).

Later that evening, I treating myself to a divine meal of delectable pastries and delicate macarons at the world-famous Ladurée (a pink paradise!). The delightful sweet treats and Parisian charm were almost as good as a pirouette in my pink tutu (but nearly – nothing tops that!).

This week’s highlight? Absolutely seeing the incredible ‘Ballet Preljocaj’ show at the Palais Garnier! My goodness, the choreography was mind-blowing, the dancers were pure perfection, and the opulent theatre, steeped in so much history, made it an evening I’ll never forget.

Paris, with its elegant boutiques, vintage treasures and fashion houses, has been a true haven for a pink tutu lover! I've been browsing shop windows and scouring the streets for vintage treasures that might bring a touch of Paris to my pink tutu wardrobe (and there have been a lot!). And believe me, I’ll be sharing my latest fashion finds soon on www.pink-tutu.com!

Today, I’m looking forward to exploring Montmartre, the iconic hilltop neighbourhood known for its bohemian vibes. With its artists' studios, quaint cafes and the iconic Sacré-Coeur basilica, Montmartre is practically overflowing with beauty and charm. It’s the perfect setting to get my inspiration flowing and maybe even capture a few photos of my pink tutu in this captivating district!

Oh, and I can't wait to try a French pastry at one of the charming local boulangeries - after all, what's a trip to Paris without a delicious croissant, a warm pain au chocolat, or a flaky pain au raisin?

As you know, my dear friends, every pink tutu story is about spreading joy, creativity, and a bit of that twirling magic that makes us feel so alive! I’ll be sharing more stories, photos, and inspiration on www.pink-tutu.com all week, so don't forget to stop by! I promise you won't regret it!

Until next time,

Stay twirling, Emma

P.S Let's bring the power of the pink tutu to the world – join me in celebrating colour, creativity, and, of course, lots of joyful twirls! And don’t forget to share your own pink tutu stories and pictures with me using the hashtag #PinkTutuParis on social media!
