Pink Tutu Paris: Post 1140 - Bonjour from the City of Lights! 💖

Well, hello there, lovelies! It's your favourite pink tutu-wearing blogger, Emma, and I'm absolutely buzzing to be back in Paris! It feels like ages since I last felt the magic of this beautiful city, and believe me, this trip has been perfectly planned – and I'm not just talking about my wardrobe! 😉

You see, this weekend, my diary's chock-a-block with amazing ballet plans. Remember how I told you about this incredible new ballet show 'Enchanted Evening' that was getting all the buzz in the Parisian ballet scene? Well, I managed to snag tickets to tonight's performance! Squee! You bet I'll be decked out in a fabulous pink tutu and my favourite sparkly ballet flats for this, a little bit of Parisian magic and glamour just wouldn't be complete without a touch of pink, would it?

But before we talk ballet, I simply have to share my epic EuroStar journey. It was like stepping into a luxury fairytale, honestly! As soon as I boarded, the warm lighting and plush seats gave me a feeling of pure joy, and of course, I whipped out my favourite bright pink cashmere cardigan for a bit of extra warmth – it wouldn't be a Pink Tutu travel experience without it! Plus, you know I had to snap a few selfies with my delicious French pastries from the onboard cafe. Oh la la, that croissant was a dream! 🥐

But anyway, onto the real reason for this trip – the glorious Parisian ballet! Now, you know me, I adore exploring new theatres and experiencing different performances, but 'Enchanted Evening' is something truly special. Imagine beautiful choreography, dazzling costumes, and an enchanting score - all taking place in one of the most prestigious venues in the city, The Opera Garnier. Seriously, this theatre is something else, its magnificent architecture and lavish interiors are so breathtaking, I nearly fainted! (Don't worry, I saved it for the final applause.)

I also know a few secret spots that sell the most beautiful ballet wear – and, of course, a touch of pink is always a must-have in my wardrobe. I even discovered this lovely little vintage shop on a quiet, cobbled street, it’s tucked away and bursting with treasures, imagine – a stunning 1950s pink tulle skirt… the dream! Oh, I almost forgot! Paris wouldn't be complete without a spot of 'ballet street,' a truly unique phenomenon. Every Saturday morning, artists and musicians gather near The Eiffel Tower to perform. I love catching their free performances; ballet, theatre, mime... anything goes, it’s so inspiring. It feels a little bit like a party, like we’re all gathered for one big ballet performance and you simply cannot miss it.

Of course, I’m not leaving Paris without a little bit of shopping, this trip is simply not complete without a a few more fabulous pink tutu options for my collection. So many gorgeous Parisian designers… maybe a few new blush coloured cardigans and a statement sparkly beret for my wardrobe. But hey, that’s what my travels are all about – I make a ballet show or two and then treat myself to a new piece for my collection… what can I say? 👠🛍️

Before I finish up this post, you must know Paris really does inspire me. I have a feeling my ballet plans in the future are going to have to start involving even more pink tutus, as this trip has got me seriously buzzing about everything pink!

Don’t forget to check back next week, as I’m off to discover a whole new area of Paris for my next ballet performance! And keep checking out my new “Pink Tutu” ballet outfits in the boutique. (New stock has just arrived.) You know how much I love a little Parisian style, and a dash of pink in the air.

Catch you later, darlings, Love, Emma 💖 xx
