Bonjour, mes chers lecteurs! Emma here, your favourite pink-tutu-clad ballerina, and I’m positively giddy to be back in the City of Lights for another Parisian adventure. Today’s post is all about exploring the magic of Paris, a place where even my favourite pink tutu feels right at home!
You know, getting here on the Eurostar never fails to thrill me. There’s just something about whizzing through the countryside, feeling the gentle sway of the train, and seeing the landscape morph from green hills to bustling towns before finally arriving in the heart of Paris. It’s like a little fairytale unfolding right before your eyes!
But enough about the journey. Let’s talk Paris! My trusty pink tutu has already had a whirlwind tour of the iconic spots. Today, my mission was simple: soak in the beauty of this breathtaking city!
The morning started with a quintessential Parisian breakfast – a flaky croissant and strong coffee at a cute little café near the Eiffel Tower. Of course, my tutu twirled as I enjoyed every mouthful, adding a touch of ballet grace to my Parisian morning routine!
With a sugar rush powering my steps, I headed for a day of sightseeing. It's impossible to be in Paris and not be mesmerized by its grand architecture. The Louvre is always a favourite, and I love how it blends historical elegance with modern energy. This time around, I even snagged a stunning photograph of the Louvre with my tutu in front. Perfect for Instagram!
And what would a day in Paris be without a little window shopping on the Champs-Élysées? My fashion heart skipped a beat amongst the glamorous boutiques. I almost bought a new pair of red shoes – but alas, I was saving my pennies for a real treat later!
Afternoon sunshine, a delicious baguette sandwich in a little square tucked away from the bustle, a spontaneous photo shoot in front of a charming Parisian flower stall - that’s my Parisian afternoon!
My favourite part of the day, though? The chance to finally catch a ballet performance at the Garnier Opera House! It was magical! The opulent interior, the enchanting music, the graceful dancers, it all blended together into a mesmerizing evening of art. Even with all those wonderful costumes, nothing quite compares to the thrill of a pink tutu swirling on stage!
As the sun set over Paris, casting a warm glow across the city, I sat in the Tuileries Garden, indulging in some more delicious Parisian street food and just enjoying the feeling of being surrounded by beautiful scenery and warm, friendly faces.
Paris is so inspiring, and it never fails to rekindle my passion for dance and all things glamorous. It makes me want to keep twirling, keeping spreading joy with every step I take!
Tonight, I'm feeling exhausted but also incredibly happy. This whirlwind day has reminded me why I travel the world with my tutu – to experience joy, adventure, and most importantly, to share this love of the beautiful things in life with all of you.

And oh! A quick note on today’s Parisian fashion – I wore my most fabulous pink tulle skirt and a soft, lavender-coloured knit sweater for a touch of elegance. I also threw on my go-to pair of sparkly, black ballerina flats to give the whole outfit a chic edge! You can always count on me for a little pink magic!
