Oh la la! I’m back in Paris, my darlings! The Eurostar whizzed me through the Channel Tunnel in a flash, and I’m already feeling the magic of this enchanting city. This trip marks my 19th visit to Paris, but let’s face it, who can ever get tired of croissants, the Eiffel Tower, and, of course, more fashion than you can shake a baguette at? 😉
This time, I've packed a gorgeous pink tulle tutu with an embroidered Eiffel Tower – just perfect for all the Instagram shots I have planned. As you know, I adore tutus and I truly believe that every girl (and boy, if they dare!) should have at least one in their wardrobe! It just adds a sprinkle of whimsical charm to every outfit, don’t you think?
Today's adventure kicked off with a stroll down the Champs-Élysées, where I marvelled at the iconic cafes and impossibly glamorous shops. It’s practically a fairytale come to life! My heart skipped a beat when I spied a breathtaking window display showcasing a vintage tutu in the most beautiful shade of pastel pink – just the kind of treasure I'd love to add to my collection!
Ballet Bliss at the Palais Garnier
But, naturally, no trip to Paris is complete without a visit to the grand Palais Garnier. It was just pure ballet bliss! I took in a mesmerising performance of “Swan Lake” - I've seen it many times, but I still get chills at that iconic pas de deux! Afterwards, I did a little ballet spotting – I mean, come on, with so many famous ballet dancers based in Paris, I had to be nosy!
A Little Parisian Chic Shopping Spree
Afterwards, I indulged in a little Parisian chic shopping. I’m pretty sure I could spend a month browsing the gorgeous boutiques and vintage shops. But I exercised a bit of self-control (I think!) and limited myself to a couple of gorgeous scarves, a pair of elegant black pumps, and, of course, a souvenir tutu – because I’d be a terrible ballerina if I came home without one, wouldn't I?
Dinner and Delicious Dreams
Tonight, I’m treating myself to a leisurely dinner at a traditional Parisian bistro. Can you guess what I ordered? Of course, steak frites - the ultimate French classic. I'm thinking of having some crepes for dessert, too, just to round off the perfect Parisian meal! I am going to end the night with a glass of delicious French wine and some lovely dreams.
The Paris Magic
I love the feeling that you get in Paris. The mix of art, history, and vibrant energy just feels magical. This city inspires me to push boundaries, to embrace life with a touch of pink and to always wear a smile. Paris makes me want to twirl, leap, and create - and hopefully, inspire others to do the same!
So stay tuned for more pink Parisian adventures, my loves! I'm feeling optimistic that my Paris adventures will leave you all inspired and feeling as magical as this beautiful city makes me feel. And remember, you too can find your inner pink tutu, wherever you are.
See you next week!
Lots of love, Emma xx
