Train Travel Dreams
My journey began in the heart of Derbyshire, England, where my ballet shoes were packed, my trusty tutu tucked safely away (naturally, it's pink!), and my heart filled with excitement. The EuroStar is a magical experience – the smooth journey gliding through the English countryside, followed by a speedy descent into the French heartland, always leaves me buzzing. I'm a firm believer that travelling by train is the most romantic way to travel – especially when you're wearing your favourite pink tutu and a big, wide smile!
A Parisian Ballet Ballet
I arrived in Paris at midday, with the sun reflecting off the beautiful Parisian buildings and my Parisian pink tutu taking centre stage in my mind. My first stop? The exquisite Opéra Garnier! What could be more divine than experiencing a ballet masterpiece in the birthplace of ballet itself? The stage was breathtaking, the dancers graceful and elegant, and I, well, I was utterly transported! My inner ballerina, twirling and pirouetting, fully embracing the magic. The energy in the theatre was incredible - it truly was a performance to remember.
Fashion Fantasy in the Marais
Later that day, my pink tutu had a wardrobe change as I delved into the charming cobbled streets of the Marais. Shopping in Paris is always an absolute delight! My senses were overflowing with the delicate perfumes from boutique perfumeries, the unique designs from independent fashion boutiques, and the rich history emanating from antique stores. It's the perfect place to find one-of-a-kind treasures – and naturally, my mission was to find a pink item or two! After an hour, I was laden with a selection of delightful accessories - a vintage pink brooch and a new fluffy pink scarf. My outfit had transformed – and I'm in love with the extra layer of French elegance!
A Delicious Dinner Dream
My evening began with a delectable dinner in a tiny bistro with twinkling fairy lights and an open-air patio, perfect for watching the world go by. Paris, for me, is all about these small moments - enjoying a simple meal with a glass of French wine and the sounds of Parisian chatter swirling around me. The flavours were divine – simple, fresh and utterly delicious! It was a beautiful start to a fabulous evening.
The Eiffel Tower Sparkle
And what is a trip to Paris without a visit to the Eiffel Tower? My pink tutu felt right at home sparkling in the glow of the tower's lights. There's something so magical about seeing this iconic landmark – it’s a symbol of love, hope and joy, and it never fails to inspire my heart. Walking across the bridge at sunset, the Parisian lights twinkled below and I imagined I was dancing under a beautiful sky. The city seemed to whisper secrets of Parisian romance.
Pink Tutu Paris: A Moment of Reflection
This weekend in Paris was a symphony of pink. Every step was a twirl, every experience a delightful moment. I discovered new boutiques, devoured delectable meals, danced along with beautiful ballerinas, and basked in the glow of the Eiffel Tower. Paris truly inspires my inner ballerina, and encourages my love of all things pink and lovely. My heart is filled with Parisian memories and my pink tutu, ready for new adventures.
