This week I’ve been exploring the City of Lights, feeling utterly Parisian chic and absolutely fabulous. And naturally, it wouldn’t be a trip without a Pink Tutu.
Paris by EuroStar: A Smooth, Stylish Journey
This week, I embraced my inner travel-loving ballerina, and what better way to start a Parisian adventure than on the Eurostar? The sleek, silver train carried me effortlessly across the Channel, making me feel like a starlet en route to a premiere. The plush seats and on-board refreshments made it an incredibly smooth journey – a total win for this Tutu-wearing traveler!
Paris Fashion: Where Every Street Corner is a Runway
You guys, I am SO smitten with Parisian style! The chicest Parisians, with their perfect coats, berets, and perfectly-coiffed hair, inspire my own love for fashion and make me feel like I'm in a chic dream sequence. Even just walking through the streets feels like I’m strolling along a runway. Naturally, I'm keeping my Parisian wardrobe in line with my personal signature, mixing and matching my fave pink pieces with chic French finds, always finishing with a dash of Tutu magic, of course.
Oh, The Ballet Shows!
Being in Paris, I couldn't resist seeing the extraordinary performance of "Swan Lake" at the Palais Garnier. The opulence of the theater, the beautiful music, the intricate choreography – it all swept me away. I truly felt transported to a world of magic and beauty. As a ballerina, watching these world-class dancers, witnessing their artistry, and absorbing the pure artistry is deeply inspiring. The Palais Garnier, with its grand architecture and opulent interior, is just incredible – a perfect spot for a little pink tutu to shine!
Le Jardin du Luxembourg – A Parisian Haven
When you need a little Parisian sunshine, you head straight to the Jardin du Luxembourg. The sun dappling through the trees, the playful children on the swings, the quiet chatter of tourists – it’s simply magical. I enjoyed the calm and the sheer beauty of it all – it truly captures the essence of Parisian charm. It also allowed me to feel totally free in my pink tutu as I twirled through the rose gardens – what a treat!
Afternoon Tea at the Ritz
No trip to Paris is complete without a touch of luxury, and I must tell you, the Ritz is absolutely stunning! The opulent, Belle Epoque style interior, the delectable finger sandwiches, the fluffy scones – oh, my! It truly was an afternoon tea fit for a princess! Of course, I wore a pink tutu that had a little extra je ne sais quoi for the occasion!
Parisian Treats and a Love Affair with Pink
Naturally, no trip to Paris would be complete without indulging in delicious Parisian treats! The creamy macarons, the delicate pain au chocolat, and the gooey cheese are simply divine! I love finding pink treats. Pink macarons are my absolute favourite. Every cafe seemed to have them, it's definitely my colour! A lovely addition to my outfit, if I do say so myself!
Weekend at Le Marais – Exploring a Chic Quarter
Saturday was spent wandering around Le Marais – one of my favourite Parisian neighbourhoods. The cobblestone streets, the historic buildings, the charming cafes – every corner is a postcard-worthy view! I indulged in the delicious food – think croissants and pastries! Le Marais is filled with a cool mix of modern shops, antique stores, and fashion boutiques, a perfect spot to find treasures and indulge in some pink shopping – and you guys know how much I love a good shopping spree!

In Paris, the pink tutu was a conversation starter! People just couldn't resist smiling, giggling and taking photos. It's not just about fashion; it’s about embracing life with a vibrant spirit, like a little pink twirling whirlwind. I love how wearing pink tutus helps spread joy to others!

This weekend in Paris was truly magical! Paris, I've got my eye on you for next time! As for me, it’s back to Derbyshire, where my dancing and Tutu dreams will continue. My goal, of course, is to get everyone in the world to wear pink tutus, one happy spin at a time.
