#PinkTutuBlogParis - Post 1232: Parisian Whirlwind 🩰💖🇫🇷

Bonjour mes amies! It's Emma here, and what a whirlwind of a week it's been! I'm writing this from my darling little hotel room in Montmartre, overlooking the Sacré-Coeur – the most magical, fairytale view, all shimmering under the Parisian sun.

This week, I packed my tulle, my sequins, and my very best pink-hued optimism for a trip to the City of Lights! I've always dreamt of exploring Paris, and the journey over on the Eurostar was practically a ballet performance itself, complete with Parisian elegance and my very own pink tutu, of course. The feeling of being whisked across the channel, surrounded by that intoxicating scent of croissant-infused air… well, let's just say I was on cloud nine!

The first stop on our Parisian adventure was a visit to the Musée Carnavalet. Stepping into this beautiful building, a glorious celebration of the history of Paris, I couldn't help but feel a little like a princess stepping into a palace! The historical displays, the stunning artwork, the whole atmosphere… pure magic. The only thing missing was a little tulle and glitter, don't you think?

Speaking of sparkle, you know I couldn't visit Paris without exploring some of its magnificent couture boutiques! The window displays are literally works of art, bursting with vibrant colours and luxurious fabrics. I picked up the most darling pair of pink velvet gloves – the perfect accessory to my evening outfit. Shopping in Paris is an art form in itself, a whirlwind of fashion inspiration and indulgence.

But Paris is about more than just shopping and museums! After a delicious, perfectly-pink strawberry macaron (it was so pink, it practically shimmered!), we headed to the Musée Rodin for a dose of artistic inspiration. I can't even tell you how much I loved wandering through the grounds, surrounded by these breathtaking sculptures. Rodin's "The Thinker" seems to be pondering a very important question: “Where can I get my hands on one of those fabulous pink tutus?”

As evening descended, we strolled down the Champs-Élysées, admiring the illuminated Eiffel Tower - a masterpiece of architectural magic! I swear, that building looks different from every single angle! The air was filled with the joyful hum of the city, and I was filled with a giddy feeling of joy. We concluded the evening at the legendary Moulin Rouge. The vibrant colours, the elaborate costumes, and the thrilling dance routines had me completely enchanted! I even spotted a few fellow pink tutu enthusiasts amongst the audience – my heart swelled with pride!

There's truly no city quite like Paris, my darlings. It's a city of romance, culture, and endless inspiration, all wrapped up in a chic, beautiful bow. From the romantic streets of Montmartre to the glamorous boutiques of the Rue de Rivoli, there's a touch of magic around every corner. Oh, and let's not forget about the delicious pastries and the breathtaking views from the top of the Arc de Triomphe!

Of course, no trip to Paris would be complete without a ballet show, right? I can't go a day without ballet! On Saturday, I had the privilege of seeing "La Bayadère" at the Palais Garnier. Oh, the costumes! The music! The storytelling! It was breathtakingly beautiful and such a feast for the eyes.

So, my dear friends, if you're ever feeling a little down, just picture yourselves strolling along the Seine with a delicious macaron in hand, watching the Eiffel Tower light up against the Parisian twilight, and remember: "The world needs more pink tutus!”

And I shall be back next Saturday with more Parisian adventures, all wrapped up in my favourite colour! Au revoir!
