Bonjour, lovelies! It’s your favourite pink-tutu-clad ballerina blogger, Emma, and guess what?! I’m in Paris! Can you believe it? The City of Lights, the fashion capital, the home of ballet - it’s simply magical! I whizzed over on the EuroStar this morning, feeling like a Parisian princess in my pretty pink tutu and my favourite lace-trimmed cardigan.
This week, my blog post is all about my Parisian adventures. Buckle up, darling, it’s going to be a whirlwind!
A Pink Tutu Pilgrimage: To the Grand Palais!
It wouldn’t be a Parisian trip for me without a visit to the stunning Grand Palais. Oh my, you’ve got to see it! It's a feast for the eyes! Imagine an enormous glass dome, sparkling in the sunshine, filled with the most exquisite art and sculptures! I felt like a tiny pink tutu fairy surrounded by so much grandeur, and I even caught a glimpse of a Chanel show going on! It felt like stepping into a dream.
Speaking of dreams, I went to the Ballet de l'Opéra Garnier this afternoon. You know how much I love ballet! Oh my, I simply adore Paris’s Grand Opéra! It’s absolutely breathtaking! It felt like an opulent fairy tale, with grand chandeliers and beautiful mosaics. They were performing “Giselle,” and I was so inspired. Every movement felt so light, so graceful, and I wanted to get up there and dance with them! I was just that in love with it all.
A Pink Tutu Shopper’s Paradise!
No Parisian trip would be complete without some fabulous shopping. Did I just say fabulous?! Oh, it was divine! I discovered this little gem of a vintage shop, and I found the most exquisite lace scarf – perfect for pairing with my pink tutu, of course! I’m always looking for that perfect piece to add a touch of glamour to my ballerina look.
Then, darling, I found myself at Printemps! Oh, you must visit it! It's like a Parisian fairytale, with luxurious perfumes, stunning fashion and delectable pastries! My inner girly-girl went completely wild! I even tried on a chic, pink, floral-print dress!
And speaking of fashion, let's talk about street style! The Parisian girls are seriously stylish. Their chic outfits with that effortless touch of sophistication had my heart singing! I love how they embrace all the different colours, patterns, and textures – they truly know how to make fashion their own!
A Pink Tutu Love Letter to Paris
This is just a taste of my first day in Paris, darling! This city is brimming with magic and joy, and I’m going to soak it all up. Every street corner holds a secret treasure, every boulangerie a delicious pastry, and every cafe a little slice of Parisian paradise!
This trip reminds me just how much I love travelling, and discovering all the beauty this world has to offer. It's so important for me, as a ballerina and a blogger, to share my love of pink, tutus, and all the wonders this amazing world holds.
