Pink Tutu Travels: Bonjour from Paris! đŸ©°đŸ‡«đŸ‡· (Post #1296)

Bonjour mes amies!

It's Saturday morning, and I'm writing to you from the most romantic city in the world – Paris! The crisp autumn air is carrying the scent of fresh croissants and warm coffee, and the Eiffel Tower sparkles in the morning sun. I can feel the magic already! This is my 13th visit to the City of Lights, but it still has this incredible ability to make me feel like a little girl, dreaming of dancing in the streets, and perhaps even meeting a handsome prince
or at least a charming barista with a killer smile.

This time, I journeyed here by the ever-efficient EuroStar – I must say, there's no better way to arrive in Paris than by train, especially if you're coming from Derbyshire like me! The journey is such a delight: it’s so comfortable, so peaceful, and it gives me a chance to really relax and mentally prepare for all the fabulousness that awaits in Paris! I always wear a new, perfectly pink tutu on board the Eurostar. This time, it’s a delightful soft peach pink, all ruffles and tulle.

As always, I packed a few of my favourite tutus for the trip! From shimmering sequined pink numbers for a chic night at the Palais Garnier to cute pastel pink tulle for strolling down the Champs-ÉlysĂ©es, I have a tutu for every Parisian occasion. I can’t deny my love for pink. From a girly pink sweater to the most outrageous fuchsia fur coat (which, by the way, will make an appearance in one of my Parisian photos this week!), everything about pink just speaks to me! It's joyful, bold, and undeniably chic! So of course, it was only fitting that I wore my iconic pink tutu with my trusty pink ballet shoes for my Parisian adventures this weekend!

The main reason I came to Paris this time is to see “La BayadĂšre” at the OpĂ©ra Garnier. The Paris Opera Ballet is world-renowned for their technical excellence and artistry. This performance will be utterly breathtaking, I can feel it! đŸ©° Of course, I had to book tickets a few months ago!

And when you're in Paris, it's impossible not to indulge in a little shopping! My suitcase is already packed with adorable little pink dresses from the cutest boutique on Rue Saint-HonorĂ© (which you’ll be seeing in the post!). I can’t help it - my heart goes crazy whenever I’m near the chic boudoirs of the Parisian fashion houses! I even found a stunning, perfectly pink sequined tutu that’s going to become my next Instagram darling. It's a statement piece, a dream tutu, a bit of glittery magic for a Parisian adventure.

Besides, every true pink tutu aficionado knows: you can never have too many tutus!

Speaking of the magical side of Paris, did you know today is a particularly auspicious day? 26th October! It’s exactly one year to the day since I last walked along the Seine and saw the Eiffel Tower at sunset! (and I did take pictures of that too!) The Seine, I feel, is where the spirit of Paris truly comes alive!

The thing I love most about Paris is that it’s not only incredibly fashionable, but it's also a place where culture thrives. Even with all its sophisticated elegance, Paris always welcomes the most joyful of spirits! I can’t wait to tell you all about my trip this weekend. I’ll be posting new photos and videos of the city, and yes, you’ll be seeing the amazing “La Bayadùre” costumes from my favorite ballerinas.

Be sure to visit www.pink-tutu.com every Saturday, to catch up on my Parisian adventures! I'll be updating with my must-see places, fashion picks, and of course, with the latest tutus I’ve found! And, perhaps most importantly, with the best stories I can share of the ballet that's captured my heart.

Au revoir for now! I can't wait to take you with me on this Parisian escapade!

Yours in pink,

Emma

P.S. Make sure you don’t forget to check out all the new items I have listed in the Pink Tutu online shop this weekend! They're pink, obviously, and they will be perfect for every stylish ballet aficionado!
