Bonjour mes amis!
Itās Emma here, your favourite tutu-wearing travel enthusiast, and guess what? Iām in Paris! Yes, you heard that right ā the City of Lights, the home of couture and the heart of ballet. My feet are practically tap dancing with excitement, and my tutu is practically quivering with anticipation!
I took the Eurostar over yesterday, and you wouldn't believe the views ā so romantic! We whizzed past fields of sunflowers and rolling hills, all bathed in golden sunlight. I practically felt like I was in one of those beautiful French films, you know, the ones with the gentle music and charming cafes! I even managed to catch a little nap (in a tutu of course! How else could I?) with dreams of all the beautiful fashion, delicious pastries, and stunning performances that await me in the City of Love!
But before I get ahead of myself, let me tell you about how Iāve managed to land in this magnificent metropolis! Remember those amazing performances I've been doing lately? Well, they've been bringing in quite the crowd, and with those generous tips and ticket sales, Iāve managed to tick this trip off my ādream destinationsā list. Iām so grateful for all your support ā I honestly wouldn't be here without you! And you better believe I'm going to do my very best to make you all proud ā with plenty of pink tutus and captivating Parisian adventures, of course!
Todayās Agenda: A Ballerinaās Delight
This morning was all about taking in the Parisian atmosphere. I strolled through the cobbled streets of Montmartre, marvelled at the SacrĆ©-CÅur Basilica (so awe-inspiring!), and, of course, snapped some photos in front of the iconic Moulin Rouge, giving a little twirl in my blush pink tutu for good measure!
But you know whatās really special about this city? Itās not just the pretty sights; itās the feeling. Paris has an incredible energy that just radiates ā the chic, stylish people, the gentle hum of chatter in cafes, the air of creativity... it's all just so utterly charming!
The day isnāt over yet, however! Iām off to a delightful little boutique for some window shopping, perhaps some inspiration for new tutu creations (one can never have too many tutus, right?!), and then later tonight I'll be catching a performance of "Swan Lake" at the Palais Garnier Opera House! Can you believe it? A real ballet show in the legendary Paris Opera House! Iām positively bubbling with excitement, especially in my custom-made āParisian Dreamā tutu, designed specifically for this special occasion. Youāll just have to wait until my next blog to see photos of the entire outfit, but let me tell you, it's an absolute masterpiece!
Dinner and Drinks at a Parisian Bistro
After the ballet, I'm planning a delicious, classic French dinner at a charming bistro tucked away in a side street. It's one of my favourite things about travelling - discovering hidden gems, getting off the tourist trail, and truly immersing yourself in the local culture!
As you can probably tell, this week's blog is a little shorter than usual - but only because my time is dedicated to enjoying all that Paris has to offer! But trust me, I'll be back next week with more amazing adventures, more tutus, and, most importantly, more inspiration to share. Until then, remember, "life is a dance, so make it fabulous!"
Bisous from the City of Lights!
Emma x
