I'm absolutely buzzing with excitement to share all the pink, fluffy, fabulous details with you, so settle in for a blog post full of Parisian charm and pink tutu twirls!
Eurostar Dreams and Pink Tutu Packing
My Parisian adventure began with the classic, chic, and incredibly efficient Eurostar. I absolutely love train travel, especially in this elegant setting. A little hot chocolate in a glass, gazing out at the lush English countryside whizzing by, and planning my Paris outfits… what's not to love?
My luggage, naturally, was packed with the perfect mix of pink tutus (more on that later!), stylish dresses, and oh-so-French chic accessories. Because when in Paris, you simply have to look your best, right?
Pink Paris Perfection
Paris. It’s an incredible city! As soon as we arrived at Gare du Nord, the streets bustled with Parisian charm – chic locals in flowing scarves, colourful patisseries filled with exquisite pastries, and a general atmosphere of Parisian nonchalance. Oh la la!
A Parisian Ballet Adventure
My heart truly belonged at the Paris Opera House this weekend. It’s such a spectacular building! You can just imagine the stories these walls have seen. This was the highlight of my Parisian adventure, as it always is whenever I visit. They’ve just released a new version of Giselle, and of course, it's an absolute must-see! So many beautiful, breathtaking ballet moments! As a ballerina, I can never get enough of the delicate beauty and athleticism on display – a truly mesmerizing performance! It was, however, quite challenging for me to not go up on stage and join in. However, my friend Anna reminded me I am here to write a blog post, not be on the world famous stage. My time will come!
Parisian Fashion Frenzy
After the ballet, it was time for some Parisian fashion fun. The Galeries Lafayette shopping centre was an absolute dream. Imagine acres of beautifully curated shops overflowing with the latest trends and exquisite designs. It's pure luxury shopping paradise! From delicate lace and vibrant prints to designer bags and shoes that shimmer like a thousand stars, my eyes simply couldn't absorb all the gloriousness. But, I'm always a sucker for a cute pink dress, so I indulged myself with a beautifully flowing, off-the-shoulder piece. Imagine twirling in that! (I couldn’t resist twirling in the shop!).
We had lunch in a tiny café nestled on a cobbled backstreet, the sunlight streaming through the window and catching the dust motes in the air. I absolutely loved sipping on a delicious French café au lait whilst admiring the passing Parisians, from chic women in Parisian dresses to handsome men with a dashing air.
The Pink Tutu Mission Continues
Naturally, no trip to Paris is complete without a visit to the iconic Eiffel Tower. You simply must climb to the top and see the dazzling lights twinkling across the City of Lights. As I stood atop this marvel of engineering, I realised something rather wonderful - I actually could see a few ladies in the distance sporting tutus. They weren't pink, but hey! That's just a little detail we need to address. Perhaps next time, I’ll do a mini Pink Tutu flash mob, spreading my love of tutus and reminding everyone just how wonderfully carefree and fun it is to embrace your inner ballerina!
As I sat in my cosy hotel room writing this, surrounded by Parisian charm, my thoughts started to drift. It was the end of my trip to Paris, a city that truly captivated my heart. I already dreamt of coming back, exploring more charming little corners, and inspiring even more ladies to discover their own pink tutu bliss. It's my ultimate mission to get everyone twirling in pink - what a wonderful way to spread joy and remind ourselves of the beautiful ballerina inside us all.
