Pink Tutu Blog - Paris! #PinkTutuBlogParis - Post 1399

Bonjour, darlings!

It's Saturday, and you know what that means… it's time for another Pink Tutu Blog post! This week, I'm whisking you all away with me to the City of Lights… Paris!

Oh, the sheer joy of a EuroStar journey! It's not just the sleek, fast train that makes it so wonderful (though, let's be honest, who doesn't love zooming through the Channel Tunnel?) It's the sense of excitement building as you clickety-clack across the continent, heading towards a new adventure! This week's adventure? A Parisian whirlwind of ballet, shopping, and fashion, of course!

Remember my dreams of a Parisian pink tutu tour? Well, it's happening, babes! I’m going to immerse myself in the beauty of the ballet here in Paris. The city’s history is steeped in dance - just picture those famous can-cans! So naturally, I’ve been planning my Paris schedule around the exquisite world of ballet. And let me tell you, my diary is crammed with excitement. We're talking a Grand Prix show at the Opéra Garnier (don't even get me started on the costumes!), a contemporary ballet performance at the Théâtre du Châtelet, and even a chance to take a class at a renowned Parisian ballet studio. I've already ordered a fabulous pink leotard - I think it will be a beautiful colour against the Paris backdrop.

But Paris isn't all about ballet, darling! There's fashion! And what better way to experience Paris fashion than by indulging in a little retail therapy at some of the iconic stores? From the designer boutiques on Avenue Montaigne to the vintage finds in Le Marais, I'm on the hunt for some pink tutu-inspired pieces! Think delicate silk scarves to jazz up a plain outfit, chic pastel pinks, and maybe even a touch of Parisian elegance in a form-fitting frock! I’m also going to pick up some new dance shoes from Repetto’s iconic shop in the Marais, just for good measure!

Now, if you know me, you know I can’t be in Paris without a little slice of Parisian café culture. Imagine, a steaming cappuccino, a flaky croissant, and the sound of French chatter all around, whilst watching the world go by in my favourite tutu, of course! Oh la la! There will, of course, be pictures for Instagram - don’t forget to follow along with my journey!

I'm also incredibly excited to explore the artistic and cultural delights that Paris offers. I can’t wait to gaze up at the iconic Eiffel Tower in its glistening glory, walk down the picturesque Champs-Élysées, and get lost in the beautiful architecture of the Latin Quarter. We can’t talk about Paris without mentioning the iconic art museums - I've already booked tickets to see the Impressionist paintings at the Musée d’Orsay. The Impressionist artists were obsessed with light and movement - so maybe that's why I love Paris so much, its vibrancy is so beautiful and infectious. I will, of course, be visiting the Louvre too, home to the enigmatic Mona Lisa - I wonder if the famous lady has a secret fondness for pink tutus! I wonder, I wonder…

Now, onto what you're all REALLY here for:
