Bonjour, darlings! Emma here, your favourite pink tutu-wearing ballerina, and oh my goodness, Paris! ?? You wouldn’t believe the adventures I’ve crammed into the last seven days! It’s been an absolute whirl of ballet, shopping, and delectable croissants! And all thanks to the magical powers of the EuroStar, I’m here to share it all with you, my precious pink-loving followers.

This week, Paris was calling! I had a glorious show lined up in Derby last week, raising funds for my little Paris adventure. It’s amazing how much can be done with a little creativity and a few fancy footwork routines! After all, dance is more than a passion; it's my passport to the world, my excuse to get out there and experience the wonder of places like Paris.
My arrival on Thursday was truly a dream come true! It always amazes me how the EuroStar whisks you away with such effortless style. I settled into my charming hotel near the Eiffel Tower, and, after a quick outfit change into something a little less "Derbyshire village" and a whole lot more "Parisian chic", I was ready to conquer the City of Lights!
A Parisian Ballet Extravaganza
You can imagine my excitement as I settled into my seat at the Palais Garnier! There's just something magical about seeing a ballet in such a grand setting. And this show, "La Bayadère," was an absolute triumph! The dancers, so graceful and breathtaking, left me speechless. The music, the costumes, the story; everything was exquisite. I couldn’t resist capturing the spectacle on my phone, though, of course, nothing truly compares to experiencing the performance in its full glory.
Shopping, Shopping, Shopping!
After my Parisian ballet immersion, it was time for my favourite pastime - shopping! Paris is a wonderland for the fashion-forward, with boutiques overflowing with unique and stunning finds. The first stop was Galeries Lafayette. The entire building is an explosion of style! The iconic pink, grey, and black colour scheme is such an elegant match for a tutu, and my fellow tutu-loving friends wouldn't believe the range of pastel pink shoes, dresses, and even bags!
From the Champs-Élysées, to the Latin Quarter, I explored every hidden treasure Paris had to offer. From classic French designers, like Chanel and Dior, to the cute, affordable boutiques, I discovered pieces that scream "Emma in Paris" (if you can believe it, some things are even more sparkly than my signature pink tutus!).
Fashion is My Passion
You know my heart belongs to ballet, but Paris has a way of making you see the world through a fashion-focused lens! I spotted the coolest streetwear trends, paired with tutus, of course, and took so many pictures for my Instagram. I think I’ve become known as "the pink tutu lady" in the fashion circles here in Paris, and let me tell you, the compliments have been flowing!

Food for the Soul
Okay, I can't talk about Paris without mentioning the food. Croissants fresh out of the oven, a gooey slice of brie on a baguette, crepes so light and fluffy they’re almost like a dream. Every bite was a delicious symphony of Parisian flavours!
