It’s Saturday, and you know what that means - a brand new #PinkTutuBlogParis post! I'm so excited to share all the wonderful things I've been up to in the City of Lights.
This week I've been whisked away on the Eurostar, which feels like stepping back in time (in a good way, obviously). I love how luxurious and comfortable it is, plus you get incredible views of the countryside speeding by. Honestly, there’s just something so glamorous about travelling by train!
But enough about my journey. Let’s talk Paris! My heart beats a little faster every time I arrive here - it truly is the most magical place on earth. Today, the Parisian sun is shining through the trees and the streets are buzzing with life, just like a vibrant ballet. I’m in a delightful pink tulle tutu, of course - perfect for strolling along the Seine and enjoying the city’s charming energy.
As you all know, I'm a massive fan of ballet, so naturally, my first stop was the Opéra Garnier. It’s like stepping into a fairytale! The ornate architecture, the golden chandeliers… it’s utterly breathtaking. This week, I was lucky enough to catch a performance of Swan Lake, and it was absolutely sublime. The dancers were flawless, the music was enchanting, and I even shed a happy tear at the end.
Of course, no trip to Paris is complete without indulging in the city’s fabulous fashion scene! The Rue de Rivoli was calling my name with its countless boutiques, each more alluring than the last. I even snagged a pair of gorgeous pink ballet flats, just begging to be twirled in! There’s something about the Parisian style that just gets to me – so chic, so effortlessly cool, yet still brimming with that undeniable joie de vivre.
Parisian Perfection:
Here’s the thing – it's not just about the sights and the shops. It’s the feeling you get here, the feeling of being surrounded by beauty and artistry. From the intricate designs of the Eiffel Tower to the romantic atmosphere of a Parisian café, every detail adds to the charm.
But it's not just the tourist hotspots I'm loving! There’s something so special about finding little hidden gems, like charming bookstores bursting with treasures or charming patisseries with irresistible scents of fresh croissants and pain au chocolat.
Speaking of treats, did you know that this weekend is La Fête du Chocolat? Imagine, an entire festival dedicated to chocolate! This city knows how to celebrate the good things in life! ?
This week has also been about reflecting on the magic of this city. Paris is more than just a place to visit - it's an inspiration, a source of creativity. I can feel my own artistry bubbling over with ideas and plans for future tutus and performances.
And the most amazing thing about it? Every day feels like an exciting ballet, filled with unexpected twists and turns and opportunities for discovery. And honestly? What more could a pink-loving tutu girl want?
