Pink Tutu Prague - Blog Post #261: Where the Cobblestones Meet the Swan Lake!

Hello, my darling pink-loving fluffballs! It’s Wednesday, and you know what that means? A brand-new post on Pink-Tutu.com, straight from the heart of Prague!

I'm just brimming with excitement. This week's been absolutely phenomenal! Let me tell you, dear readers, Prague is a city that simply sparkles. It's like stepping into a fairy tale. And, as luck would have it, my week began on the most magical note possible: with a visit to the National Theatre to see Swan Lake!

Now, I've seen Swan Lake a fair few times in my day - both on stage and on screen - but the magic of a live performance never loses its lustre. This particular performance at the National Theatre in Prague was something truly special, however. From the intricate set design to the impeccable dancers, it was absolutely breath-taking. The swan costumes, oh my! Such exquisite feathered finery. I simply had to sketch them in my little ballet notebook.

Of course, I wasn’t the only one captivated. The entire theatre was awash in applause and oohs and ahs, with people enthralled by every graceful twirl and pirouette. As for me, well, I practically skipped out of the theatre with joy, clutching my precious ballet program. A dream come true, as always.

And while my ballerina heart was filled with glee from the ballet performance, I’m not a stranger to the enchanting stories woven through the city of Prague itself. My trip here wasn't all about Swan Lake, dear friends! It's been a full-on immersion in the charm and vibrancy of this glorious city.

First things first, I indulged my love for all things historical. I found myself utterly enchanted by the old-world architecture of Prague’s charming streets. And yes, darling, it was all just begging for some chic pink tutu photography! It really doesn't get more Instagrammable than strolling past the majestic Charles Bridge and the iconic Prague Castle, you know?

Of course, no trip to Prague would be complete without experiencing the city’s captivating cafe culture. Imagine: quaint cobbled squares, sun-drenched cafes, and me in a darling pink tutu with a slice of the most delectable almond cake you’ve ever tasted, oh! The life, I tell you!

And to cap off this enchanting week, I spent a delightful morning at one of Prague's fabulous vintage stores. My dear friends, I’m talking a whole other level of "I'm-obsessed!" It's almost like stepping back in time to a world of petticoats, lace, and the most delightful vintage dancewear imaginable. I managed to snag a stunning antique beaded bodice - something straight out of a 1950s ballerina’s dreams. It’ll make a splendid addition to my tutu collection!

You see, darling, life isn't just about pirouettes and tutus, though they do add a touch of sparkle to any day. It’s also about those wonderful little discoveries, those unexpected adventures that make you truly appreciate the world around you.

So, until next week, darling fluffballs, remember to wear your tutus with pride and to embrace every enchanting moment.

Sending you all lots of pink-tutu-fuelled love, Emma

P.S. I’m already brainstorming my next adventure. Any guesses on where I’ll be heading next? Stay tuned for next Wednesday's blog post and remember to follow me on all social media channels for updates on all things Pink Tutu.

Until next week, darling fluffballs, wear your tutus with pride, and always, always embrace life's every enchanting moment.
