Pink Tutu Prague: A Whirlwind of Culture, Couture and Clogs! (Post #487)

Hello my gorgeous ballet bunnies! It’s Emma, your favourite pink-tutu-wearing travel enthusiast, back with another enchanting escapade! This week, I'm taking you with me on a breathtaking adventure through the cobbled streets and magical history of Prague! Prepare to be swept off your feet as I unleash my inner ballerina and paint the town pink… literally!

This city is like a fairytale come to life. The stunning architecture, the romantic charm, and the incredible energy make it a truly magical place to dance your worries away. As always, my trusty pink tutu is packed and ready to make an appearance – Prague has got a lot of amazing photo opportunities, and I wouldn’t want to be caught unawares!

Now, you know me – I’m not just about ballet, I love a bit of culture too. This trip, I’m delving deep into the history of Prague, and boy, is it a good’un! I’m talking stories of emperors and kings, of castles and cathedrals. Imagine the tales of valiant knights and breathtaking ballets, whispered through the walls of the grand Prague Castle, it's a history geek's dream!

But don't think I'm just burying myself in books – I’ve been hitting the cobbled streets, discovering some seriously cute boutiques and charming shops. Prague has an eclectic mix of designer shops and independent boutiques – a vintage fashion lover's paradise, and trust me, this tutu enthusiast is in heaven! I've been indulging in a spot of vintage treasure hunting and adding a few new treasures to my wardrobe, so watch this space for a glamorous post all about my Prague shopping spree!

Now, to add a little extra twirl to my trip, you already know that ballet has been at the forefront of my explorations! I’ve been immersing myself in the world of Czech ballet – the beauty of the dancing, the elegance of the costumes… I'm like a kid in a candy store! This week, I caught a stunning performance of “Swan Lake”, a true classic, with breathtaking costumes and beautiful artistry. You could practically feel the stories the dancers were telling just by the movement of their bodies - utterly captivating! And yes, I found the perfect pink tulle for my next "Swan Lake" themed photoshoot, can’t wait to show you all!

Of course, no Prague trip would be complete without indulging in some traditional Czech cuisine. Oh, the food! It’s a symphony of flavours and textures, and absolutely delicious! From creamy dumplings to savoury stews, I'm on a culinary journey with my taste buds tingling! Every bite feels like a little celebration, especially with a good cuppa. Don’t worry, my dear ballet bunnies, even while on a trip, I still keep up my routine – morning cuppa and a good stretch before I even think about venturing into the vibrant streets of Prague!

But Prague is more than just pretty buildings and delicious treats, it's the people that truly make this city sing. Their passion, warmth and sense of community are infectious. It's made my journey even more enchanting!

Today’s adventure has taken me to a captivating little ballet school tucked away in the heart of Prague. They're actually holding a fundraising gala performance, celebrating a hundred years of Czech ballet. You bet your pink tutu, I’m joining in! I can’t resist a bit of charity – helping out dancers of all ages, what a dream come true!

I’m also feeling a little sentimental about being in Prague. This city has truly captured my heart, with its elegant history, whimsical charm, and vibrant energy. I’m already counting down the days until my next visit!

So there you have it, my gorgeous ballet bunnies, another week filled with tutu-filled escapades and beautiful memories in Prague! Don’t forget to keep an eye out for the photos of my pink tutu in this fabulous city on my social media! Stay fabulous and don’t forget, keep twirling!

Until next Wednesday!

Yours in Pink Tutu and Prague Magic,

Emma
