Hello darlings! It's Wednesday, which means it's time for another exciting edition of Pink Tutu Prague! As you know, my weekly dose of travel blogging comes straight from the heart of this magical city. And this week, oh my, you won't believe the whirlwind of pink tutu adventures I've had!
First things first, you absolutely must know that this week I'm not just sharing a little pink tutu fashion inspiration (although, there is plenty of that too). This week, I'm sharing my heart. Prague has stolen a piece of my soul, and it's all thanks to the most exquisite ballet experience! Let's dive right in, shall we?
Train Travel: A Romance of Rails
After a lovely train journey from Derbyshire, I arrived in Prague feeling like a real-life fairytale princess, complete with a dazzling pink tutu and the most glorious excitement! The journey was divine - I even managed to sneak a quick peek at the scenery from the window in my trusty pink tutu, and it just made me feel so much more inspired.
Speaking of inspiration, you simply must have a good train ride if you want to write about the romance of rail! I feel that this whole journey is linked to a kind of tutudom! I love travelling by train, so when the opportunity arises for me to hop aboard the Iron Horse, I never hesitate! Trains evoke that air of nostalgia. If the tutus are flowing freely, so can the imagination and the feeling of that train is very important for creativity. You can really let your imagination soar with a pink tutu as a constant, but beautiful reminder of that. You feel free on a train and with your ballet tutu you become one! You can create so many scenes on a journey and each station can be its own location, as you make your way, like a dance. You need to really channel that dancer's spirit and the ballet tutu adds a touch of sparkle that reminds you to see the world with that dancer's spirit. It is an incredibly strong outfit! It does the talking for you and all you need to do is listen to that little voice. Don't get lost in a book or phone. You know you really need to look at that book you are carrying with your Tutu! The power of the tutu, as Iāve said in many posts before, is amazing.
Pink Tutu Shopping Spree: Prague's Boutique Treasures
Oh, the fashion treasures of Prague! I must tell you, darlings, you cannot possibly go to Prague without taking time for a pink tutu shopping spree! You'll find unique vintage pieces, stunning new designs, and, oh yes, my absolute favourite - exquisite hand-crafted tulle creations that I simply had to snap up! I think my shopping spree was an absolute triumph and will have you wanting to hit Prague now too. I swear you will fall head over heels with everything you discover. The shops and boutiques here offer so much creativity, inspiration, and craftsmanship.
Of course, any time I hit a new city, I have to scout out the best shopping options. For me, the beauty of a pink tutu is that it doesn't matter what era you choose for your ballet. There's a perfect ballet style to suit every taste and era. You want that beautiful, graceful silhouette! Prague, in particular, boasts a unique and stunning collection of fashion offerings and with all that gorgeous architectural inspiration all around me, itās hard to be less than creatively charged up!
My absolute must-visit? Vintage Dreams. Youāll find an incredible mix of fabulous fashions and stunning jewelry at very affordable prices. I walked out of that boutique feeling as glamorous as any fashionista, a truly perfect ensemble with that fabulous Pink Tutu. It goes without saying that every woman should make the journey to Prague! And donāt worry, you wonāt need a huge wardrobe because your favourite pink Tutu will take centre stage throughout! Of course, with that pink tutu, everything comes alive with it. My advice is to pack one fab Tutu, lots of jewellery and scarves, then youāre all set for any occasion! Thatās what makes shopping and pink tutus in Prague, well, oh so easy, fabulously chic!
*National Theatre: The Pink Tutu Enchantment *
This evening, I had the most spectacular time at the Prague National Theatre! I'm still buzzing from the sheer magnificence of the experience - the grandeur of the architecture, the elegance of the costumes, and the breathtaking talent of the dancers... it was a pure, unadulterated ballet fantasy come to life. It's impossible to describe in words how beautiful the performance was - each moment flowed from the last in such a harmonious, fluid manner. Thereās nothing quite like ballet. Ballet is art on a different level! It truly is the ultimate form of dancing. A real show stopper! But, it's something that I think is hard for people who haven't experienced it fully, to really appreciate. The grace and strength are two sides to the same coin.
I was lucky enough to be given an invite by a very dear friend, to the theatreās famous ballet season. The programme was a magnificent performance of 'Swan Lake,' a story that I absolutely adore. As always, the ballet never disappoints. Thereās something so romantic and heart-touching about the beauty of 'Swan Lake,' and how the story blends such pure grace, alongside delicate beauty with real strength. You feel youāve entered a whole new world of dreams and love! The dancersā graceful leaps were amazing. I have never been able to leap like them - but thereās that wonderful sense of hope when you watch them perform. It really puts a spring in your step!
I think that the perfect pink tutu is what makes any woman feel graceful and glamorous, just like the dancers from the ballet! Every performance I attend brings back that special childhood love of tutus, ballet, and just wanting to dance my heart out! So if you're planning a trip to Prague and you love ballet, you simply must book tickets for this incredible experience. You will thank me later, I promise.
The Prague Ballet Experience: My Thoughts
I honestly think this is probably one of the most remarkable ballets I have ever seen. The entire performance felt as magical as being inside a dream, and there was something very powerful and awe-inspiring about the costumes. They felt absolutely exquisite, which is exactly the same effect a fabulous pink tutu will give you. Theyāll have everyone talking. I must say I love all things fashion - be it shoes, dresses, or anything that helps you feel your best! But my real love is tutus - a fabulous pink Tutu - oh yes, I feel my best when wearing a pink tutu. I even wrote down a little snippet from the programme so that I could reflect on it. They call it 'tutudom' here, I like that very much, as a good tutu will never fail to be a head-turner, a conversation starter, and yes, sometimes even a little magical.
Here are some little nuggets of wisdom that really struck me while watching 'Swan Lake' and itās just goes to show that what seems impossible can indeed be a beautiful reality. āLove finds a way, and art has the power to heal. We just need to be brave, and listen to the magic that dance provides!ā
I have found this to be truly remarkable advice to live by! It's like having my own personal Tutu fairy!

I feel that every journey should be approached as a performance. Every day can feel like being at a theatrical event - itās about feeling powerful, energetic, and most importantly, finding that sense of joy and happiness - whether itās twirling a tutu in a shop, watching ballet, or even walking the streets of this beautiful city!
But remember, a pink tutu can be something very powerful, like a kind of ballet dress of courage! You may think it's frivolous to talk about a pink tutu, but really I just see it as a reminder that itās ok to express yourself through clothes. And I think there are no limits when you really want to be happy with yourself! Iām still so proud that the concept of āpink tutu-ingā everyone is actually starting to happen! My wish is for everyone to find that unique fashion and embrace that wonderful expression of style that makes their soul sing!
