Prague: A Ballet Lover's Paradise (Post #594)

Hello, my lovely readers! It's Wednesday, and that means another blog post for you, this time from the glorious city of Prague!

This week has been a whirl of swirling skirts and sparkling chandeliers. I landed in Prague yesterday, straight from a show in Munich (more on that later!). The train journey was simply magical – picture me in a whimsical floral dress, a charming pink ribbon tied around my suitcase, and the breathtaking landscapes zipping by. It's these little touches of glamour that make my travels truly enchanting.

Now, as you know, Prague is known for its breathtaking architecture and rich history, but for me, it's a haven for all things ballet! Today, I embarked on a journey through Prague's ballet heritage, exploring the grand National Theatre and discovering its remarkable history. It seems ballet has been swirling across the stage here for centuries, captivating audiences with its beauty and elegance. I imagine the grandeur of past performances, with dancers in exquisite tutus gliding across the stage under the twinkling lights.

Of course, no visit to Prague would be complete without indulging in a bit of shopping. Prague's streets are bursting with adorable boutiques and quirky vintage stores, and I've been adding to my tutu collection! Today, I snagged a stunning, antique lace tutu, perfect for a Parisian picnic or a whimsical waltz at a fancy tea party.

The Magic of Prague Ballet

Later this week, I’ll be taking in a performance at the National Theatre. I've heard incredible things about their productions – they boast an outstanding company of dancers and breathtaking stage designs. The programme includes [Insert ballet title that is performing that night from the National Theatre webpage].

Pink Tutus: My Personal Touch

My darling readers, let’s talk pink! It wouldn't be a Pink Tutu blog without a sprinkle of pink, wouldn’t it?

I’ve been thinking about this gorgeous city, and all the ways to add a touch of pink tutu to everything here. Firstly, we need to plan a pink tutu dance class in the Charles Bridge, imagine all the reflections in the Vltava river, just magical! It's truly a breathtaking spot, perfect for a ballet inspired photo shoot! Of course, all my outfits have a touch of pink - from a delicately pink flower pinned to my hair to the pink stitching on my beautiful tutu dress - a tiny splash of pink goes a long way!

I just can't get over the city's beauty and romance. Prague, for me, is the perfect destination to wear a beautiful pink tutu and waltz through cobblestone streets, with all the history, art and magical vibes.

More From Prague to Come!

I have a feeling this week is going to be full of balletic bliss. From exploring the city's stunning ballet heritage to watching performances that will leave me breathless, I’m embracing the enchantment of Prague with all my heart. And, of course, my darling readers, I will keep you updated on my adventures here every step of the way. Stay tuned!

With love and tutus,

Emma

P.P.S Have you heard of the "Prague Ballet and Opera House"? It's such a gem! Let me know in the comments if you’ve been there. It would be fantastic to hear from my fellow ballet enthusiasts.
