Prague in Pink: Post #654 ๐Ÿฉฐโœจ

Hello, my darling tutu-loving darlings! It's Wednesday, and that means it's time for a new post from yours truly, Emma, in beautiful Prague!

This week, I'm hopping on the whimsical wave of pink with a whirlwind of ballet and Bohemian charm. As you know, I adore a good ballet show โ€“ it's the most graceful and enchanting form of storytelling! โ€“ but today, my adventures go beyond the theatre walls.

Prague, oh Prague, you are truly a fairytale come to life! Every cobblestone street and charming corner whispers stories of princesses and valiant knights. And let's be honest, the sheer volume of pink pastries and delectable delights makes my heart skip a beat!

But first, a quick confession: this week's post has a slight pink-tinted bias. Don't worry, I wouldn't be true to myself if I didn't let my love of this vibrant hue shine through!

From Derbyshire to Prague by Pony and Train

I had the most delightful journey to Prague, a lovely combination of vintage glamour and rural charm. Imagine a classic English village with thatched roofs, quaint cottages, and a dash of misty magic โ€“ that's where I embarked on my adventure!

My darling, Betsy, the most majestic Shetland pony, patiently carried my luggage to the village train station. Imagine a dainty little horse with a perfectly pink saddle, matching my perfectly pink tutu, of course! It was a sight to behold, my friends, an absolute picture of pink-hued perfection!

The train journey to Prague was filled with romantic landscapes that resembled something out of a classic fairytale book. Imagine rolling green hills, sprawling vineyards, and charming towns dotting the countryside, like pearls on a necklace.

As I settled in my seat with a glass of delicious Czech cider and a juicy pink-hued apple (just look at me, always incorporating pink!), I watched the scenery transform into the iconic cityscape of Prague. The sight of the towering Prague Castle, a symbol of strength and beauty, truly captivated me. I had to snap a few pics with my camera โ€“ it was so very Insta-worthy!

Dancing Through Prague's Enchanting Streets

Prague's old town, with its cobbled streets and medieval architecture, felt like I had stepped onto a film set for a magical period drama. Everywhere I looked, history whispered stories through every creaking archway and ancient windowpane.

Of course, my favourite part was exploring the grand old ballet theatres! My passion for ballet is undeniable. I simply adore the history behind the costumes and the way ballet transports you to another world. I'm planning on visiting the National Theatre this evening and I have the most amazing tutu planned! I can't wait to share photos on my Instagram - my Instagram is @pinktutu. I love it when people take inspo from my style - maybe they'll get on board the Pink Tutu trend too!

But let's not forget my shopping sprees! The shopping streets in Prague are bursting with delightful little boutiques brimming with intricate designs, beautiful vintage treasures, and, of course, an array of exquisite fabrics that just scream "pink tutu"!

Just a moment ago, I found the most divine little dress shop. Imagine an explosion of vibrant pink tulle and lace. They had the most fabulous range of tutus too - perfect for an impromptu street performance - maybe later on tonight! The kind lady who owned the shop even gave me a beautiful pink feathered fan! How charming!

Prague's Cultural Gems: Art and Ballet

Today was a day dedicated to immersing myself in Prague's cultural heritage. The Prague National Theatre is a stunning architectural gem! From the beautiful grand hall and lavish decorations, the stage lit with the spotlight is always such a romantic spectacle. My absolute favourite is seeing a show in the evening - especially under the glittering chandeliers. It truly sets the mood!

Tonight, the show is "Giselle," a classic ballet tale about a beautiful peasant girl who is tragically deceived by a deceitful knight. I simply cannot wait for it! I love all things tragic and romantic. And it will just be delightful to soak up the romanticism with a sparkling glass of prosecco!

Before I dash off to prepare for the show, let me share a little fun fact: Did you know the tutu itself was designed specifically for ballet in the late 1800s? It revolutionised ballet movement, offering the dancers a freedom and agility never before seen. How revolutionary!

Embracing the Pink Tutu Life in Prague

My time here in Prague has been a vibrant whirlwind of cultural immersion, romantic exploration, and a dash of fashion-forward flair! I must admit, the city is positively intoxicating! Every corner seems to be brimming with exquisite fashion, delectable food, and heart-stoppingly beautiful architecture. I just can't get enough!

My mission is to embrace life in Prague to the fullest, and my beloved pink tutu will be my constant companion along the way! I can't wait to share more adventures with you in my next post! Until then, keep those tutus twirling and your pink hearts beating!

Ciao, my loves,

Emma x
