Dearest Tutu-ettes!
It's Emma here, reporting live from the charming city of Prague! I know you all adore a bit of travel as much as I do, and this week has been nothing short of magical. A trip to Prague, oh darling, is practically a dream come true. Tutu Travel: A Train, A Pony, And A Big Pink Suitcase
Now, I know what you're thinking - how does a ballerina like myself get around this glorious world without resorting to a stressful aeroplane? Well, darling, that's where my love for vintage charm comes in! This time, I decided to indulge in a touch of old-world romance and travel by train. A first-class carriage, plush leather seats, and a good old-fashioned journey across the countryside - just delightful! And once I arrived in Prague, I had a most unusual mode of transport: a gentle pony! Isn't that a delightful twist to an otherwise ordinary arrival?

Now, let's be honest, dear reader. If there's one thing I'm mad about, it's my signature colour: pink! And, let me tell you, Prague has a bit of that Parisian je ne sais quoi, with cobblestone streets that are absolutely charming. Oh, and did I mention the bridge, Charles Bridge? It's absolutely brimming with romantic history! Every step I took felt like I was in a fairytale, surrounded by colourful buildings and lively, friendly locals.

The highlight of my trip was absolutely a performance at the Prague National Theatre. It was utterly breath-taking! A production of “The Sleeping Beauty” - imagine! They even had real ballerinas, not just those little CGI sprites! This ballet, darling, was truly a work of art, and you could practically feel the passion and precision of every step. I was transported, mesmerized, and utterly thrilled! And the costumes - well, simply magnificent, not just the traditional ones, but a splash of pink and beautiful embellishments too, of course. They even had a ballet-themed shop, where I just had to get a little pink souvenir!
Shopping for Tutus and Other Trinkets
Now, we can't possibly leave Prague without a bit of shopping, can we? The city's antique markets were a real treat for my fashion senses, darling! There I discovered vintage jewelry that made me gasp, handmade leather bags with quirky charm, and oh my - those antique lace trimmings would make a fabulous pink tutu! This was shopping paradise for any ballerina! I just couldn't resist a new dress or two (pink, naturally). It had a slightly retro style with layers and embellishments, giving me that chic 50's vibe! Oh, and I snagged a few sparkly clips too! A ballet performance isn't complete without a little sparkle.

Honestly, I felt like a schoolgirl again, absolutely captivated by this stunning building and all its secrets. There's so much beauty and elegance in every little detail!
Of course, my ballet curiosity lead me to the National Theatre’s ballet archives. Just the thought of all those costumes and handwritten notes about choreography gives me goosebumps! They even have an impressive collection of tutus, some dating back centuries. Honestly, I could have spent the whole day admiring the craftsmanship and intricate details! And it got me thinking - could there possibly be a pink tutu tucked away in those archives, lost to history but waiting to be rediscovered?
