#PinkTutuPrague Ballet in Prague 2010-09-01

Hello darlings! It's Emma here, your resident pink tutu aficionado, and I'm back with another delightful installment of my Prague adventures! This week's been absolutely bonkers in the best possible way, overflowing with beautiful ballet, fab shopping, and even a spot of pony riding - more on that later! 😉

As you know, I'm currently living the dream in the enchanting city of Prague, a place where every cobbled street seems to echo with history, romance, and of course, ballet! As a true devotee to all things twirly, it's been a ballet bonanza here, and my schedule has been crammed with divine shows, enthralling ballet classes, and even some seriously sparkly costume shopping! ✨

Let me tell you, my darlings, this was a real treat! The Estates Theatre, known for its historical significance and architectural splendour, provided the perfect setting for a performance of the beloved Swan Lake - what a treat! I've seen countless versions of this classic ballet, but each time I fall in love with its captivating story and the sheer technical skill of the dancers. The graceful choreography, the delicate storytelling through movement, and the hauntingly beautiful music – it was a performance to remember!

My heart fluttered at every graceful leap, and I couldn't help but get lost in the dreamy world of swans, princes, and dark magic. Honestly, I felt like I'd stepped right into the pages of a fairytale!

And let's not forget the costumes! Those elegant white tutus, the sinister black ones, and the royal gowns – each piece was an absolute dream. I can practically hear the whispers of "ballet history" coming from each seam! It's this kind of experience that reminds me why I'm so passionate about ballet; it's a truly magical art form!

After the ballet, I indulged in a spot of retail therapy at a lovely little boutique nestled away in one of Prague's charming side streets. I'm a sucker for unique, handmade pieces, and this store was overflowing with exquisitely crafted jewellery, featuring exquisite Czech pearls, shimmering stones, and delicate floral motifs. It's a perfect souvenir, don't you think?

Now, I know you all are familiar with my love for anything sparkly, so I had to snag a few pieces for my growing collection. Imagine the possibilities, darling! My pink tutus are just begging for some fabulous adornment! I can't wait to share pictures of my latest acquisitions on Instagram soon, so stay tuned!

And for a change of pace, I embraced Prague's idyllic countryside! You know how I love venturing beyond the city walls and discovering hidden gems? Well, this time, I discovered a horse-riding farm a short distance outside Prague. My equestrian experience might not be quite as graceful as a ballet class, but that didn't stop me from enjoying a beautiful pony ride! The gentle rhythm, the fresh air, the feeling of freedom...it was an absolute joy. And honestly, the photos are delightful, and you know how much I love an excellent picture!

Speaking of which, I might just need to invest in a new pink riding helmet – think of the possibilities! A pink tutu paired with a fabulous riding hat – now that's a look! 😄
