Hello, my darling tutufarians! Welcome back to the Pink Tutu Prague blog! I'm thrilled to share my latest adventures with you. This week, my pretty pink tutu has landed me in the magical city of Prague!
A Journey Through Time and Style
Prague is a truly beautiful city, like stepping into a fairytale. Gothic spires reach for the heavens, charming cobbled streets twist and turn, and pastel coloured houses shimmer in the sunshine. And my fellow tutufarians, it's simply perfect for a pink tutu!
Speaking of journeys, my journey to Prague was pure romance, a blend of old-fashioned charm and modern adventure. My travels started with a trip on a comfy train, gliding through rolling green countryside like something out of a ballet. It felt almost like being whisked away by the magical fairies from Sleeping Beauty.
When I arrived, a handsome gent named František helped me find my lovely hotel, and I was charmed by his old-world manners. He seemed captivated by my pink tutu, even asking if I would do a little twirl for him in the courtyard. You can imagine how delighted I was! I can’t tell you how much I adore a well-mannered gentleman, they truly are the cherry on top.
Pink Tutu in the Heart of Prague
After I had unpacked my tulle suitcase and freshened up, I put on my very best pink tutu – a swirling symphony of tulle and feathers. You can imagine how beautiful I looked in this gorgeous city, a little bit of Pink Tutu magic bringing some sparkle to the heart of Europe.
As always, the first thing I had to do was find some exquisite shops to browse, to top up my collection of tulle and pretty pink ribbons. Thankfully, Prague did not disappoint! From traditional boutiques tucked away in tiny courtyards to bustling markets bursting with colourful fabrics, it’s a paradise for any tutu-lover! I couldn’t resist a gorgeous pink sequined ribbon and a delicate beaded pink headband.
And who doesn't love a little ballet inspiration? Well, Prague boasts some truly exquisite theatres, their rich history whispered on the walls and woven into the very fabric of the city.
The Ballet of Prague – A Symphony of Motion
Tonight, I’m attending the Prague National Theatre, a historical gem nestled on the Vltava riverbank. The setting is quite spectacular - you’re truly immersed in an elegant world of swirling waltzes and graceful jumps. It’s a perfect escape for any tutu aficionado!
But the excitement doesn’t end there! Tomorrow, I'm taking a trip back in time to see the captivating Nutcracker performed by the Prague State Opera. I can already picture the enchanting choreography, the sparkling costumes, and the delicate melodies weaving through the air! Just the thought of the beautiful dancing is making my pink tutu quiver with delight.
And who can forget the magnificent dancing fountains of the Old Town Square! These illuminated waters move in elegant patterns and dance to the rhythm of beautiful classical music. What a delightful sight, and the perfect complement to my ballet-themed visit!
Pink Tutu - Making the World a Tutus-tastic Place!
Oh, I do adore these amazing cities, where history dances with modernity and pink tutus always make their grand entrance! Every week, I aim to spread some tutufarian joy to the world and make everything a little more fabulous.
After all, don’t we all deserve a touch of magic in our lives? What better way to spread joy than with a delicate swish of a pink tutu? It’s not just a garment, it’s a state of mind, a reminder to always be joyful, always be kind, and always be yourself.

P.S. Did I tell you about my amazing discovery at a quaint little tea room tucked away in the heart of Prague? It’s a little secret – The Teacup Fairy – it’s overflowing with charm and delicate pink decorations. They even have delectable pink cupcakes topped with sugar pearls – absolutely divine!
P.P.S And guess what?! I have another exciting trip in the pipeline, this time by pony! Yes, I will be visiting the gorgeous countryside of Ireland next week, where I'll be exploring ancient castles, majestic rolling hills and, hopefully, finding some wonderful pony friends to go on a pink tutu gallop.
