Prague: A Tutu-tastic Tale (Post #859)

Hello, darlings! It's Emma here, reporting live from the magical city of Prague, where cobbled streets, gingerbread houses, and a touch of fairytale magic mingle with the most stunning architecture I've ever laid eyes on!

This week, as you all know, it's all about ballet, and darling, this trip is a ballerina's dream come true!

I took the Eurostar straight from London to Paris and then hopped on a comfy little train to Prague – let me tell you, a little train journey is the perfect time to indulge in a spot of tutu-shopping! It was impossible not to snap a few pics of my stunning new pink tulle creation. I may be in the land of Charles Bridge and Kafka, but you can always count on me to bring a bit of Pink Tutu magic wherever I go!

Of course, a trip to Prague wouldn't be complete without a peek into its magnificent National Theatre. Its grand facade and intricate decorations are positively enchanting, making my ballerina heart flutter. The programme, I was delighted to find, is packed with classical and contemporary pieces, giving me an absolute plethora of options for my weekly ballet fix. And guess what, darlings? There's a delightful performance of Swan Lake happening tonight – just a few hours away! I simply can't wait to watch those elegant ballerinas glide across the stage in their delicate tutus, the swans themselves frozen in time.

Speaking of tutus, you wouldn’t believe the fashion here in Prague! The Bohemian spirit shines through in everything from the clothes on the street to the gorgeous vintage shops. Every nook and cranny is a treasure trove waiting to be discovered! Today, I've been treating myself to some delicious pastries and exploring the charming shops in the Old Town Square – I snagged the most beautiful pink hat with a veil, perfect for adding a touch of whimsy to my evening look for the ballet.

My travels aren't just about shopping and ballet, though, darling! This morning, I visited the charming and historic Lennon Wall. Its surface is covered with a vibrant kaleidoscope of colour and messages of peace, making it a testament to the human spirit's resilience. I even added my own little pink message! A girl's gotta spread the love for tutus and pink, even across continents, right?

It's truly a whirlwind of a trip. In fact, this evening, I’ll be taking a relaxing horse and carriage ride through the heart of the city, followed by a delicious dinner at a charming little cafe near the theatre. There’s something truly special about Prague’s unique mix of history, art, and the vibrancy of a modern city. I've been absorbing it all, taking notes and dreaming up tutu inspiration!

To round off this incredible day, I’ll be venturing into the world of Swan Lake tonight – an enchanting journey of grace and drama on stage, mirrored by the elegant Prague backdrop around me. I'll share my thoughts and maybe even a sneak peek at the incredible costumes in tomorrow's blog post!

Remember, darlings, you can always catch up with me on the wonderful world of pink tutus every Wednesday at www.pink-tutu.com. Let's continue spreading the love for pink and for everything beautiful in the world, together!

Much love,

Emma xx
