Hello lovelies! It's Wednesday again, and you know what that means... It's Pink Tutu Time! 💅🎉
This week, I'm absolutely buzzing to be writing to you from the heart of Prague! 🇨🇿
Oh, this city... it’s utterly magical, a wonderland of gothic spires and cobbled streets. The whole place feels straight out of a fairytale – and frankly, with a tutu on, I'm living mine! 💖
As you all know, my life is a whirlwind of pink tutus and ballet, with a generous dash of travel sprinkled on top. ✈️ And let me tell you, there’s nothing quite as romantic as taking a journey by train, the landscape whizzing by, all the while I'm twirling in my fluffy pink tutu, feeling like a real-life princess! 👸🏼
This particular journey began in Derbyshire, my beloved home county, and I arrived in Prague by train last night. Honestly, I'm a little smitten. It’s the most enchanting place – every building tells a story, and the scent of sweet pastries and blooming flowers fills the air. There's simply a feeling of history here, of ancient magic, and of course, a city with so much heritage must surely be a haven for ballerinas! 😉
This is my first time in Prague, and my agenda, as always, involves lots of sightseeing, exploring, and a heap of tutu-licious fun. So, without further ado, let's delve into my adventures!
A Parisian Lunch in Prague... Without Leaving the City! 🇫🇷🇨🇿
After settling into my charming little hotel, I decided to head straight for lunch in one of the beautiful old squares. 🥐☕ It’s simply brimming with life and bustling cafes. And oh my, have I found my new favourite thing! It’s a quaint cafe serving delicious crepes. They are simply to die for! (And did I mention they had pink sprinkles? It’s a total match for my outfit, don't you think?! 💁🏼♀️)
Speaking of outfits, I must show you what I’m wearing! 👗 It’s a soft pastel pink tulle tutu with the most adorable little ruffled trim and an ethereal satin ribbon to tie around the waist. I’m wearing it with my trusty ballerina flats for comfy wandering and a classic white top with delicate lace details. Naturally, the finishing touch is a little bit of my favourite shade of pink lipstick – always good for that perfect, feminine touch!💋
Prague Castle – A Magical Sight! ✨🏰
Now, I’d heard so much about Prague Castle and honestly, it doesn’t disappoint. It’s a monumental palace complex atop a hill, dominating the cityscape with a blend of architectural styles – from Romanesque to Gothic. Every corner held a breathtaking view, and of course, I couldn’t resist taking a few twirls amidst the glorious architecture. (That tutu certainly attracts attention – even in Prague, a city bursting with unique characters!). 😄
Shopping, Shopping, Shopping... It's a Ballerina's Life! 🛍👠
Of course, no trip is complete without some good old-fashioned shopping! The narrow cobbled streets are bursting with unique boutiques, so after my Castle exploration, I set out to discover a few hidden treasures. 💎
And I’ve been absolutely spoilt for choice! I've fallen head over heels for a dainty hand-painted silk scarf that has delicate pastel florals - perfect for draping over a ballerina’s shoulder (a bit of fairytale-style drama, you know!) 💫
A Touch of Ballet History in Prague 🩰🎭
Tonight, I’m feeling utterly glamorous, ready to soak in some Prague culture! And what could be more elegant and exciting than attending a ballet performance at the National Theatre?! It’s a true cultural gem, a testament to Czech architecture and talent.
Of course, I’ve chosen a show fitting for a ballet-obsessed, pink tutu-clad princess! I'll be catching a performance of Swan Lake - one of my favourite ballet stories, filled with breathtaking grace, drama, and those timeless, elegant swan-like movements. 🦢🖤 It promises to be magical! ✨
**Tomorrow, however, my attention will turn to exploring some of the local dance studios and ballet schools. It's impossible to resist a good ballet class, no matter where I am in the world! 🩰💃🏽 After all, a ballerina never truly leaves the stage. 🤫 (I wonder if they sell pink tutus here too - fingers crossed!)
The Magic of Prague, In Pink Tutu! 💕🇨🇿
Prague, with its fairytale atmosphere and artistic heart, has stolen a part of my soul already. And it’s no surprise, considering I’m spending it surrounded by architectural masterpieces, enjoying mouthwatering cuisine, and experiencing ballet performances that inspire awe! 💖 It’s an absolute joy to wander the cobbled streets and lose myself in the beautiful sights and sounds.
