Pink Tutu Prague: Ballet, Beauty, and Bohemian Dreams! (Blog Post #964)

Hello darlings! It's Emma, your Pink Tutu Princess, reporting live from the utterly enchanting city of Prague!

This week, I'm embracing my inner fairytale heroine – a shimmering, pink tutu-clad princess who's about to embark on a whirlwind adventure through cobbled streets and gothic grandeur. This city truly does feel like a fairytale, and I'm so thrilled to be sharing it all with you.

Remember those adorable train journeys I mentioned last week? Well, I was so excited to finally reach the Czech capital, and the station itself was like stepping out of a storybook! I think I gasped out loud when I saw the stunning, red-brick buildings and ornate clocks. It's just so full of history and character, and even the cobblestones felt magical under my pink tutu-clad feet!

Speaking of history, you know I adore exploring the origins of all things dance, especially tutus! So naturally, Prague’s National Theatre had to be my first stop. This magnificent building – which looks like a gigantic, gothic fairy castle! - has been home to ballet performances for over 150 years. It’s utterly breath-taking and makes my tutu-heart sing with joy!

And speaking of breath-taking… Prague is a fashionista's dream come true! Just the architecture alone is so inspiring, with its pastel colours, whimsical spires, and intricate details. My pink tutu really felt right at home amidst the vintage charm and cobbled alleyways. It was practically made to twirl in this romantic city!

Oh, and I just HAD to visit the Old Town Square! I mean, the Astronomical Clock, the surrounding houses, the whole thing is pure enchantment! It was like something out of a Disney movie, and I had to resist the urge to twirl for everyone to see!

This afternoon, however, I indulged in my passion for ballet and popped over to the Estates Theatre, a magnificent historical jewel that's truly breathtaking. It’s here in the Estates Theatre that a little bit of history and drama unfolded - Mozart debuted Don Giovanni in this very theatre! You can practically hear the melodies reverberating through the walls.

And this evening? Why, it's time for some spectacular ballet, of course! Tonight’s performance is going to be a showstopper, a romantic and daring work that’s truly bewitching - just like this wonderful city!

You know, the people in Prague are as charming as the city itself. They're so welcoming and friendly, even though most of them don't understand my love for tutus – but who am I to judge?! Maybe they just haven’t discovered the joy of twirling in a magnificent, billowing, pink masterpiece yet!

Prague is full of exciting discoveries and delightful moments. It’s the perfect blend of elegance and whimsy. But don’t just take my word for it. Be sure to visit my Pink Tutu Prague blog, updated weekly on Wednesdays at www.pink-tutu.com! You can also follow me on Instagram and Twitter to keep up-to-date with my travels and twirling adventures.

Oh, and one more thing – if you ever find yourself in Prague, remember the secret to feeling truly fabulous… just put on your pink tutu, let loose, and enjoy the magic! It truly does make everything brighter and a little bit more fun!

Until next time, dear darlings! Stay sparkling and embrace your inner fairy tale princess!

Lots of love,

Emma

The Pink Tutu Princess.
