Hello my beautiful ballet bunnies! 🐇 It's Wednesday, which means it's time for another exciting post from yours truly, Emma, your pink tutu-clad guide to all things fabulous! ✨
This week I've flown across Europe, landing right here in the magical city of Prague. Yes, you heard me right! I'm in the Czech Republic, where fairytale architecture and cobbled streets create the most enchanting backdrop imaginable. And of course, what better way to experience this beautiful city than in my trusty pink tutu? 💖
I arrived in Prague last night after a lovely train journey from Vienna (the trains in Europe are just so elegant and efficient, unlike those rusty old things they call trains back in good old Derbyshire!). I found myself a darling little hotel right near the Old Town Square, a truly beautiful location with colourful buildings and a grand clock that's like something straight out of a storybook.
I'm known for making an entrance, and this time was no exception! Arriving at the hotel in a cloud of tulle and pink, I practically caused a fashion earthquake. The reception staff were absolutely charmed, and my adorable concierge even gave me a map decorated with ballet shoes! He whispered, "Darling, you need to see the State Opera, you'll adore it." And with those words, I was immediately in love with Prague!
This morning, I started my day in a chic little café, sipping coffee and reading my "History of Ballet" book whilst sporting a chic polka-dot pink top. ☕📚 After a delicious breakfast of croissants and coffee (a must in Prague!), I ventured into the charming Old Town to explore. Oh, it was simply delightful! I wandered down narrow alleyways lined with antique shops and adorable boutiques. One little shop even had a pink tutu in the window! A must-have! I grabbed some exquisite local Czech glass jewellery for my niece Millie, who always adores receiving a unique gift from her fabulous aunt Emma. 💖💎
Prague truly is a city for all senses! The air smells of pastries and fresh flowers, and the vibrant sounds of street musicians blend with the joyful laughter of locals and tourists alike. It's almost impossible not to feel happy here, and with my trusty pink tutu making a statement on the cobbled streets, well, I felt like the happiest ballerina in Prague! 🩰
This evening, I have the most exquisite treat! I'm off to see a performance of "Swan Lake" at the legendary National Theatre. My tickets are already purchased (the theatre is stunning - and did you know that its ceiling is decorated with stars!), and I’ve got a perfect pink sequined top chosen for the occasion. ✨ I simply cannot wait! I imagine the music, the drama, the elegance – oh, I'm going to be dancing in my seat (literally!), even if only with my toes! 💖
Prague has completely stolen my heart! I'm falling head over heels for its culture, its charm, its beauty! But for me, it’s the ballet that’s truly the cherry on top of my enchanting adventure! 🍒
