My journey to Prague began, as it so often does, with a whimsical train ride. Oh, how I adore the romance of hurtling through picturesque countryside, each passing landscape a potential muse for my latest ballet-inspired creations. This time, the journey felt especially magical. The gentle sway of the train, the soft rustle of the wind through the carriage window - it was like being transported back to a fairytale.
Speaking of fairy tales, my arrival in Prague was met with the most delightful surprise! Right outside the train station, I discovered a charming little pony carriage ride, complete with a dashing groom and a prancing steed, adorned in ribbons of pink, of course! A Ballet Evening with an Unforgettable Twist
Tonight's ballet experience was, in a word, divine! I secured a coveted spot in the dress circle of the stunning National Theatre, a venue dripping with history and beauty, with its soaring ceiling, elaborate chandeliers, and luxurious red velvet seating. And, wouldn't you know it, my darling readers, my pink tutu blended in beautifully amongst the elegance and opulence!
Tonight’s programme included the famous 'Sleeping Beauty' ballet. Oh, it was a feast for the eyes, a captivating swirl of colours, music, and emotion! The choreography was divine, the dancers were simply magnificent, their bodies a breathtaking language of grace and artistry. Every movement, every pirouette, every leap told a story – and oh, how I was enchanted.
After the performance, I made my way to the elegant lobby, buzzing with the excited whispers of the audience, sipping champagne (pink, of course!) and exchanging smiles with fellow ballet enthusiasts. You know me, I just can't resist a good ballet chat and a spot of stargazing!

Oh, but let’s not forget about the real heart of Prague, the shops, my darlings! This city is an absolute treasure trove of designer labels and boutiques, each brimming with unique treasures waiting to be discovered. It’s practically impossible to resist a bit of fashion therapy after an evening of enchanting ballet, is it not? I found myself gravitating towards delicate silk scarves, elegant hats (I can see myself wearing one with a particularly stunning tutu ensemble) and oh, the shoe stores! Each shop is a tiny jewel box of glittering fashion!
My mission for the week? To discover the perfect pink tutu for Prague. The one that embodies the spirit of the city, that flows and swirls as beautifully as the Vltava River, that captures the charm and romance of this incredible city.

Mark your calendars, my dear readers, because this Friday, the Národní divadlo (National Theatre) will be hosting a magical ballet event - “The Nutcracker”. I can't wait to see the young ballerinas on stage! I might just get a glimpse of a future Pink Tutu Prague! I will of course be posting all about it.
