Pink Tutu Prague: Post 1440 - Ballet, Bubbly, and Bohemian Dreams 🩰🥂🇨🇿
Hello lovelies! It's Emma, your favourite pink tutu-clad ballerina, back from a whirlwind week in Prague! As you know, I adore discovering new cities and the history that surrounds them, and Prague truly lived up to its reputation for being utterly enchanting. I must confess, the train journey to get here was even more exciting than I imagined! I found the most gorgeous vintage suitcase at a flea market in Derbyshire – I absolutely had to pack it with my sparkly pink ballet shoes and the fluffiest tutu I own!
I arrived in Prague to a crisp winter's day, and the cobbled streets and stunning architecture took my breath away. Did I mention I was wearing my Pink Princess tutu, the one with all the glittery tulle layers and delicate floral details? It seemed the perfect ensemble for this romantic city, so full of history and charm! 😉
Ballet Under the Golden City:
My first stop was naturally, the stunning National Theatre! The intricate architecture of the building is a work of art itself, and the golden details were shimmering in the afternoon light. Inside, I discovered a ballet heaven – the National Theatre Ballet is renowned across the world for their artistry and I just knew I had to experience it for myself!
The show I saw, "The Sleeping Beauty", was an absolute triumph. The dancers were sublime – every movement seemed effortless and graceful, the costumes were absolutely breathtaking (with a delightful shade of pink!), and the music transported me to a magical world. It truly brought back such nostalgic memories of my own time on pointe shoes! I'm already dreaming of visiting their Ballet Academy. They say the teachers there are the best, and I'm hoping I can fit in a class during my next trip.
Fashionable Find: The Tutus of Prague
Prague is not only famous for its rich cultural heritage, it is also an incredible place to find treasures. My little pink heart danced when I stumbled upon the "Ballet Shop" in the old town – hidden away like a little jewel in a historic courtyard. This haven was filled with a veritable feast of dancing treasures, and guess what? I discovered a gorgeous pink tutu I couldn't resist! This one is definitely not for beginners though – its hand-beaded detailing is incredibly intricate and almost felt royal to wear. Imagine – a princess ballerina with a sparkling tiara… I have just the tiara in my collection, too, ready to complement this stunning tutu!
Prague After Dark: Bubbly, Bubbles, and a Tutu Twist
Of course, my adventure wouldn't be complete without a dash of glam! One evening, I found myself transported to an enchanting "Alice in Wonderland"-inspired themed club called "The Black Angel". This hidden gem boasts secret gardens, winding passages, and rooms full of vintage decor. Naturally, it just had to be adorned with delicate lights, hanging crystal balls, and shimmering decorations… pure fairy-tale stuff!
The evening was the epitome of magic! There was a whimsical, theatrical air to everything, from the sparkling cocktails served in miniature teacups to the talented aerial dancers and fire dancers who moved seamlessly through the crowd. I, of course, felt completely at home with my tutu fluttering, while twirling around and enjoying a bubbly cocktail (with just a dash of cherry liquor to give it that extra touch of sparkle!). It was the perfect ending to a dreamy day, especially after my Pink-tutu inspired cocktail dance which took place on the dancefloor under the mirrored disco balls! You just know this little ballerina had everyone in awe of her sparkly movements!
Prague is Calling… and so is the Next Adventure!
Prague, with your charming cobbled streets, your rich history, and your beautiful ballet scenes – you’ve stolen a little piece of my heart. I will forever treasure the memories of dancing under the watchful eyes of the beautiful bridges, watching the ballet dancers perform in the National Theatre, and discovering hidden fashion treasures! I even found time to indulge my sweet tooth with a delicious piece of Trdelník, the traditional Czech pastry with cinnamon sugar that’s simply divine!
You know me though, this ballerina never rests, especially not when new adventures are calling. Next week, I'm hopping on a train to Vienna! The whispers from the waltzes, the waltzing, and the Vienna ballet… the pink tutu is already packed! Until next week my lovely readers, do you have any tips for what to do and see in Vienna? I am looking forward to hearing from you!
Stay fabulous and don't forget to follow your pink tutu dreams! 💖
