I arrived last week after a wonderfully scenic train journey, complete with views of rolling countryside that looked like they were straight out of a Monet painting. My trip wouldn't be complete without a charming, pink-hued carriage pulled by a trusty steed (they donāt call Prague the āCity of a Hundred Spiresā for nothing!)ā¦ It's all so romantic, and my inner ballerina just loves the whimsical setting!
I've already been enjoying the bustling charm of Old Town Square and the magnificent Prague Castle, and Iāve been indulging in Prague's irresistible shopping scene, searching for unique gems to add to my ever-growing collection of pink accessories. You know me, a ballerina's never truly dressed without a touch of pink! š
My adventures this week all centre around the beautiful and graceful world of ballet!
Wednesday's Ballet Dream:
Iām delighted to announce that tonight, Iām experiencing a once-in-a-lifetime ballet performance at the stunning National Theatre, showcasing the beautiful āSwan Lakeā. Iām just giddy with excitement!
There's nothing quite like watching talented dancers bring stories to life on stage, their bodies telling tales of passion, tragedy, and, of course, love. And to think, it all began back in the 19th century! Imagine, swan lakes and tutus just for royalty. The story behind this performance alone is fascinating, and you know me, I adore learning about the history behind the gorgeous and powerful tutus.
To set the scene for this night, Iāll be wearing my newest ballet-inspired ensemble: a custom-designed, delicate, blush-pink tulle dress, paired with pearl earrings and delicate ballet flats (of course, pink!). I think this will add a perfect touch of ballerina charm to the night.

A Passion for Pink:
Of course, no trip to Prague is complete without exploring its vibrant art scene, and as it's the International Day of Peace, the theme this week at the wonderful āKunsthalle Prahaā, which translates to āArt Hallā is "The Power of Peace and Beauty," showcasing stunning displays of contemporary art alongside sculptures and a captivating exhibition by a talented ballerina, who is now also a painter - how amazing is that!
While I may be known for my passion for pink tutus, my journey doesn't end there. I love everything from fashion to ballet, and I adore discovering new ways to incorporate my love for both into my daily life. From adding a pop of colour with a bold, pink lip to dancing down the street in a floaty tutu skirt, my goal is to inspire everyone to find their own way to express their unique beauty.
The Balletās Legacy:
I was so delighted to visit the stunning Czech National Ballet school earlier this week, a real historic gem dating back to 1875! š©°
Seeing the little ballerinas twirling around, practicing their barre exercises and studying history and theory made me reflect on my journey with ballet. My obsession started with my grandmother; she bought me a vintage tutu at a car boot sale, when I was just 5 years old. From that moment, I was captivated by its elegant and romantic spirit. And that's where it all started.
There are few things more satisfying than taking those first, tentative steps across the studio floor, my pink tutu swirling around me.
This magnificent city with its beautiful history and buildings just breathes beauty! You can feel its romance and it reminds me of a bygone era, so perfect for my ballet aspirations.
The journey to becoming a professional ballerina is not without its challenges. But it's all worth it when I step onto that stage, light shining in my eyes, and hear the applause of the audience!

Look for a unique vintage tutu while youāre on your travels. There is a unique joy in owning a piece of the history of fashion and the world of ballet.
