Yes, the City of a Hundred Spires is calling my name, and let me tell you, she’s got a lot to offer. It’s so easy to get lost in the cobblestone streets and historical architecture – but no fear, my darling readers, I’ve got my pink tutu on and I'm here to guide you through all the pink-tastic treasures of Prague!
A Tutu Train Journey
So, picture this: me, my pink tulle masterpiece (oh, it's sooo fluffy!), and a trusty suitcase brimming with ballet shoes and enough sparkly eyeshadow to rival a disco ball. All set for a train journey from the lush greenery of Derbyshire, England to the heart of Prague! I'm utterly smitten with trains, you know. There's something magical about gliding through the countryside, listening to the gentle rhythm of the wheels, and sipping on a hot cuppa (that's tea, my dears) as I soak in the view. It's almost as delightful as a plié, almost.
Now, the most important thing is to find the perfect outfit for the trip, don't you think? I chose a dusty pink cardigan with a floral print to match my favourite pink floral tutu. The colours really complimented the autumnal hues outside the train window. I even brought a miniature ballet barre on board for a quick warm-up! My secret to train travel? A comfortable pair of ballerina flats (ballet class at the station, anyone?) tucked away in my handbag, ready for a quick change once I arrive in the capital city.

Speaking of my trusty pink tutu… it’s not just any tulle masterpiece, darlings! This beauty holds a special place in my heart – and my wardrobe, obviously. It’s a hand-made, bespoke number that I commissioned from a fabulous artisan in Vienna last year. We chatted for hours about the design, discussing my passion for ballet and my belief that pink is, simply, the most beautiful colour on the planet. It was then and there that I knew I wanted something utterly unique – a tutu to rival all others, reflecting my playful style and love of the dance. Now, let’s face it, every girl needs a little magic in her life, and I believe pink tutus can do exactly that! I just adore the feeling of twirling in a pink tulle dream! Isn't it the perfect symbol of the graceful elegance of ballet and the joyous freedom of childhood? And hey, you never know when you’re going to encounter a prince in shining armor, right?
Pinktastic Prague: A Ballet Paradise
Oh my heavens, Prague is like a ballerina’s dream come true! This city pulsates with artistic energy, a history woven with a love for dance. I’ve already seen stunning ballet posters plastered across the walls – just screaming for me to attend a performance!
Of course, I just had to visit the gorgeous National Theatre with its spectacular Neo-Renaissance architecture. The stage is so grand it could almost swallow you whole, which makes it the ideal setting for an extravagant ballet production.
And my dearest readers, can you believe the amazing news? They have the most spectacular show coming to town on 4th October – tonight! A night of enchanting Russian ballet, and I simply cannot wait! A chance to see the grace and power of the Russian style on display, so elegant and exciting… I'm already daydreaming about all the pliés, the grand jetés and the intricate choreography…
Pink Perfection in the Prague Shops
And, oh, my shopping adventures here have been absolutely delightful! Prague has some wonderful little vintage boutiques and vintage fashion stalls. It’s such a perfect opportunity to unearth some stunning pieces that whisper tales of style from bygone eras. This city is overflowing with inspiration!
I've already snagged a couple of fabulous hats to add some pink sparkle to my repertoire! They're going to be a wonderful addition to my ballet wardrobe, perfect for the autumn weather we’re enjoying.
Speaking of pink sparkle… I can’t go shopping in Prague without treating myself to a pink Czech crystal necklace from one of their fabulous antique shops. They're the perfect complement to my pink tutus, and let’s be honest, there’s nothing like adding some glitter to your life. And what's a trip to Prague without trying a deliciously creamy hot chocolate?
