Prague Calling! Pink Tutu's Parisian Dream! #1509
Hello darlings, and welcome back to Pink Tutu, your weekly dose of twirls and sparkles! I'm writing to you today straight from the heart of Prague, the City of a Hundred Spires. I simply had to be here! This magical city is dripping with history, romance, and an abundance of stunning architecture – all begging to be photographed in a pink tutu, of course! 😉
This week's journey was extra special because I actually took the train to Prague! A whole ten hours of glorious views and delightful chats with fellow travellers - it really is the most civilised way to travel. I'd recommend it to anyone, particularly when you can admire the scenery from the comfort of your own little carriage. Now, just imagine how perfectly pink this carriage would have been if it were my own little creation. Pink walls, pink upholstery, fluffy pink curtains, even the coffee served in dainty pink china! Sigh One day, my darlings, one day.
Once I arrived in the city, the charming cobbled streets and quaint cafes instantly reminded me of my dear Paris – but with an even greater touch of elegance and grace. It felt as if I was walking through a scene straight out of a ballet! Oh, how I love the magic of Europe, and all its inspiring stories whispered through its cobbled alleys!
And, just to add a sprinkle of pink fairy dust to this magical experience, I got to spend a rather splendid evening at the magnificent National Theatre in Prague! Let me tell you, my darlings, it was simply a dream! They call it the "Jewel of the Czech Crown," and oh my, the name suits it perfectly. Every inch of the building – from the beautifully ornate chandeliers to the rich, velvet curtains - just exudes class.
As for the show itself, well, the National Ballet of Prague took my breath away! The grace and athleticism of the dancers, their exquisite movements – simply magnificent. My inner ballerina truly rejoiced. I could almost feel my own tutu whispering with delight, even from within my suitcase! And, it doesn't stop there, my dears! The evening concluded with the most delightful post-show reception – filled with delectable local delicacies and exquisite wines. They do love to celebrate art in style here!
Speaking of style, I have been splurging on some truly incredible Parisian fashion during my travels – you know how much I love vintage stores and that French je ne sais quoi. From an incredible pink lace hat, with the prettiest ribbon tied beneath my chin, to the most exquisite vintage gloves – imagine that, my darlings, the gloves alone would look stunning with my ballet outfit, oh, the sheer grace of it all! Of course, no Parisian wardrobe would be complete without a truly decadent silk scarf and an absolutely gorgeous, emerald green handbag with pearl details – the perfect way to carry my treasured Parisian memories.
It was such a fabulous week. The ballet, the train journey, the shopping – my dears, you have no idea how happy my heart is. And guess what? The best part is, I am not even done with Prague! Today, I will be exploring its fascinating history, delving into its architectural marvels, and who knows what other Parisian delights I will discover! It wouldn’t be a pink tutu trip without the charming cafes and cute pony rides through the city. So stay tuned, my lovelies, and I’ll share all the sparkling adventures as soon as I’m back at my laptop!
I truly believe that every woman, at least once in her life, deserves to wear a pink tutu in the most beautiful cities across Europe! To dance freely in these enchanting places, feeling like a whimsical princess, like a character from a storybook, a vision of grace and loveliness! Imagine it – the Eiffel Tower twirling in a soft pink haze, Buckingham Palace shimmering under a pink sunset… oh my, the sheer romanticism of it all! And I hope my travels inspire you, my dears, to find your own inner ballerina and twirl into your own beautiful story!
Keep shining bright,
Emma 🩰💖
Fashion Focus: Tutus on the Boulevard
Okay, I just couldn’t resist highlighting some of the magnificent tutus I saw at the theatre, darling! The beauty of these dancers in motion is captivating – and their costumes only added to the magic!
Imagine my excitement – I saw not one, not two, but three pink tutus on the stage! Now, I’m not going to lie, I was so close to accidentally forgetting the camera was there, because those tutus were seriously gorgeous. One of the designs featured a beautiful layering of tulle, so delicate and light. This ethereal, dreamy look reminded me of a ballet in a fairytale! It was just breathtaking, it truly looked like it belonged in a painting, almost good enough to wear, wouldn’t you agree? 😉
Another design stood out with a striking blend of textures – soft and shimmery in certain places, strong and sturdy in others. That contrasting effect is so stylish! I imagine the graceful, yet powerful movement the tutu enabled, truly beautiful! You know, it gave me an excellent idea for a new design, one that's both ethereal and edgy! This is why I always attend as many ballets as I can – it’s pure inspiration!
And for all you darling fashionistas out there, let me just say that seeing these beautiful tutus really made me think about how many amazing ways we can wear tutus, not just for dancing but as everyday style staples! I’m sure you already know I’m obsessed with the idea of wearing them all the time – think bright, fun, casual outfits for summer, paired with sandals and a fun tote!
Travel Talk: The Pony Express, Parisian Style
While we're talking about my travels, you've got to know that I spent part of the afternoon taking a charming carriage ride! Yes, my darlings, imagine me riding through Prague's historic streets, feeling like a Parisian princess – with an extra dash of pink. You see, it was not just any ordinary carriage; I was seated in the most luxurious carriage pulled by a pony – the cutest, most adorable pony you can imagine! Talk about a chic Parisian style experience. Just picture it: Me, in a pink dress, on this majestic creature, hair floating in the breeze, the enchanting cobblestone streets unfolding below. It truly felt like stepping into a painting, or better yet, a classic fairytale.
Of course, every Parisian adventure deserves the most luxurious attire, right? For this occasion, I opted for a whimsical, Parisian-inspired outfit – my darling vintage-inspired sundress with lace detailing – that most certainly turned heads! It flowed gracefully with the wind, like a dancer in her pirouette. And, the beautiful pony's long white mane matched perfectly with my little white purse – chic! A delightful touch of pink was provided by the most beautiful rose in the city, hand-picked and carefully placed upon my shoulder. My dearest, a pony ride was just the beginning of my Prague adventures. But, enough about my adventures, tell me, did you do anything interesting this week? Share with me! What did you wear? Which café did you discover? I am always so happy to hear from you lovely lot.
Keep dancing, my dears,
Emma 🩰💖
