Prague Calling: Tutu-ing Through the City of a Hundred Spires! š©°š
Hello, darling dears! Emma here, your resident pink tutu enthusiast, bringing you the latest from my fabulous travels. Itās Wednesday, so that means another instalment of the Pink Tutu Prague blog, post number 1520, fresh from the heart of this breathtaking city!
This week, darling, Iāve been truly living the dream. I traded in my comfy Derbyshire hills for a fairytale cityscape ā Prague, you are pure magic. Honestly, itās like stepping into a Disney movie. The spires! The cobblestone streets! The delicious pastries! It's everything a pink tutu lover could ever dream of.
I arrived yesterday by train, of course ā nothing says āenchanting adventureā like a good old-fashioned steam engine chugging through the countryside, leaving all my worries in its puffing wake. I then made my way to the city centre and let me tell you, the atmosphere is absolutely buzzing. Everywhere you look, there's music in the air, laughter echoing through the streets, and the most exquisite cafes I've ever seen!
You wouldnāt believe how the charming old architecture just begs for a perfect tutu photo op. Oh, darling, I've already taken more snaps than I can count ā all in my new blush pink tulle number, of course. Every angle of Prague looks stunning ā especially through a pink tulle lens!
Speaking of tulle, letās talk about Prague's vibrant fashion scene. Honestly, it's one of the best things Iāve experienced here! It's all about embracing unique styles and making a statement. Everywhere I go, the local boutiques are overflowing with stunning outfits that would make a princess envious. And the shoes, darling! Letās just say Iāve fallen head-over-heels in love with a few pairs already!
Now, itās no secret Iām a ballerina at heart. And of course, no visit to Prague would be complete without seeing a show at the historic National Theatre! This is a world-renowned ballet institution ā seriously, darling, you just need to experience it. I got my tickets a month in advance because these are seriously sought after and well, it's a total dream to experience. Imagine me, wearing my most beautiful blush pink tulle tutu (naturally), sipping sparkling water, and immersing myself in a world of graceful dancers and magical music. Pure bliss!
Speaking of graceful dancers, did you know Prague is brimming with talented ballet dancers? From stunning street performers, showing off their moves amidst the bustling markets, to classes at prestigious schools ā this city just breathes ballet! And just wait until you hear about their tutu tradition! Itās a secret Iām going to spill all about in a future post. š
Of course, the other amazing thing about being in Prague is all the food. From steaming bowls of Czech goulash to decadent cakes that would melt your heart (or at least make you forget you were supposed to be keeping your calorie intake down), Prague is an absolute culinary delight!
It wouldn't be a Pink Tutu Blog post if I didnāt talk about where I've been shopping. Prague has the most delightful boutiques! I've stumbled upon some truly remarkable hidden gems, tucked away on narrow streets. The boutiques here have amazing designer clothes, one-of-a-kind vintage treasures and stunning handmade jewellery. There's so much gorgeousness to be found here! Oh, darling, youāve got to try some of the local chocolates, they are utterly divine, and they look as beautiful as they taste!
And let me tell you, this little pink tutu fan had a most unexpected adventure today! On my way back from a day exploring Prague's charming Old Town Square, I spotted a sign for a pony ride through the park. Letās just say my inner child got a little excited and the fact it was an excuse to put on my other new pink tutu with the silver diamantĆ© trim sealed the deal! Thereās something utterly whimsical about riding a pony around Prague's lovely park ā it's a moment I'll cherish forever.
This beautiful city is just bursting with colour and character and has me dreaming of a permanent wardrobe of pink tulle numbers. Every street corner seems to be calling out, āEmma, darling, we're so excited to have you here!ā
Stay tuned, dears! I've got a whole lot more adventures planned for my time here in Prague!
From my fabulous, pink tulle-wrapped self,
Emma š
[This is a bit over 800 words. You can add the additional content about the day. Add in your own ideas. This can be extended. I'd recommend mentioning some ballet shows at the National theatre on 24th July and expanding upon that.]
