Hey lovelies! 💋 It's your favourite pink tutu-clad blogger Emma, and I'm bursting with excitement to share all the fabulousness of Prague with you. You wouldn't believe the adventure I've had so far, and it's only been a few days!
As usual, I got to Prague via the most romantic and environmentally friendly way - the train! It's all about making those long journeys a part of the experience, especially when it's scenic and filled with the delicious aromas of freshly baked croissants. Trust me, I've already started on my list of Prague's top bakeries (with the ultimate goal, of course, of finding the most delicious pink-frosted treat! 🤫).
But let's get back to the reason for this little Prague escapade - ballet! I'm in Prague for a glorious, enchanting evening at the National Theatre for their world premiere production of "La Fille Mal Gardée"! Can you imagine? The grandness of the National Theatre, the energy of a premiere, and a classic ballet story - this is tutu dreams come true! ✨
I'm just buzzing with excitement and anticipation, and my latest pink tulle creation is almost ready! It’s a whisper of rose petals and ballerina magic (with just a hint of sparkles, naturally!). My wardrobe isn’t exactly travel-friendly, so I took advantage of the spacious carriage on the train to whip it up! 🤫
And you know what? The anticipation and magic of a new ballet adventure isn’t all that awaits me in Prague. It’s a city practically bursting with beauty and charm! So far, I've had a pinch me, I’m dreaming moment exploring the enchanting Old Town Square - the magnificent architecture, the charming cafes with those oh-so-beautiful stained glass windows, and the delightful little boutiques that are just screaming out for me to explore.
Speaking of shopping, my lovely tutu companions have been busy working on my newest ballet designs! They’re a blend of whimsical Prague charm, graceful ballerinas and, of course, a whole lot of pink! We're aiming for a collection that brings a bit of Prague magic and those fairy tale vibes to our tutu outfits. We've already found a little shop bursting with the most stunning silk and lace, all just waiting to be transformed into ballet bliss! 🩰
This city has the most exquisite vintage boutiques and those incredible street artists whose colours practically sing to my soul! Prague’s truly a haven for a fashion-loving ballerina. And of course, what would a ballet blogger do without a ballet class to keep those leaps and pirouettes up to scratch? 🤸♀️
I’ve found a charming little studio in the Old Town with floor-to-ceiling windows offering a panoramic view of the stunning Charles Bridge. It’s going to be absolutely heavenly to work on my steps with such a stunning backdrop! Imagine, a perfect pirouette as you watch the golden rays of the setting sun glisten over the river… I'm already totally channeling my inner Black Swan. 🦢
And as for my day at the theatre... Oh my, I am so beyond excited! Tonight is all about the show, the magnificent spectacle, the beauty of dance and of course, a pink tutu masterpiece! We’ve got seats in the grand boxes, so it will be absolutely splendid. I can’t wait to lose myself in the story, be transported to another world, and feel those ballet butterflies in my tummy.
