Pink Tutu Prague - Post #1581

Wednesday 24th September 2025

"From Derbyshire to the cobblestones of Prague: My Ballet Odyssey Continues!"

Well hello there, fellow tutu enthusiasts and lovers of all things pink! It's Emma here, back from another whirlwind trip, this time from the stunning city of Prague. And as always, my pink tutu is leading the charge, twirling its way through history and enchantment!

You know how much I adore exploring new places, especially when they have a rich cultural heritage and, naturally, an amazing ballet scene. And Prague did not disappoint. It felt like I’d stepped straight out of a fairytale! The medieval architecture, the romantic atmosphere, the charming bridges, and the delightful street musicians all added to the magical ambience.

Travelling in Style: The Art of the Pink Tutu Train Ride

As you know, I prefer to travel by train, embracing the journey as part of the adventure. And this time, I even found myself enjoying the scenery with a four-legged companion! Yep, a little pony pulled my carriage, adding a touch of elegance to the journey. Imagine me, in my dazzling pink tutu, being swept across the landscape, a true picture of fairytale travel.

A Day in the Life: Ballet, Shopping, and Fabulous Finds

My first full day in Prague was a true delight! I began my morning with a class at the beautiful National Theatre. They have a lovely little ballet studio hidden away, which felt perfect for practicing my fouettĆ©s amidst such history. The city of Prague has some seriously dedicated dancers! After a delightful ā€œPetit Dejeunerā€ with a view of the Charles Bridge, I decided to treat myself to some local shopping. Prague’s Old Town Square, was like stepping back in time, I was so happy! The charming shops were full of gorgeous finds. Naturally, I had to add some more fabulous additions to my ever-growing tutu collection. (Don't judge! A girl needs options, especially in the ever-changing world of fashion! I'm planning to add a Prague inspired pink tutu, with touches of gold and crystal – oh the possibilities! But more on that in a later post, promise!)

A Night of Magic: The Ballet at the National Theatre

In the evening, the stage beckoned me. This evening the ballet programme at the National Theatre was "La Fille Mal GardĆ©e", which means The Girl Who Is Badly Guarded, the cutest ballet ever! Such vibrant choreography and enchanting storytelling. As usual I felt myself utterly immersed in the artistry and grace. And you know what they say - when there’s a show with tutus, the whole room seems to feel a little more… pink!

On Wednesdays, we Wear Pink! The Pink Tutu Blogger Tradition

I’ve really embraced my tradition of publishing my blog post every Wednesday. My little bit of online ā€œballet and fashion chatā€ on www.pink-tutu.com, that's become a special thing. I love connecting with fellow ballet enthusiasts around the globe, and I believe that there's a little bit of magic in connecting over our shared passion.

My Mission: A World in Pink TutĆŗ

Remember, I believe everyone should have a moment of ballet bliss. That's why I'm on a mission to encourage everyone to try on a pink tutu – even if just for a few minutes! Because it's all about unleashing your inner ballerina, celebrating the beauty of dance and simply having fun! And as my travels continue to take me across the globe, my pink tutu will be my constant companion, a symbol of my love for ballet, fashion, and of course, the colour pink.
