Well, let me tell you, dear reader! The truth is, I'm always up for an adventure. Especially if it means ballet. This past week has been a whirlwind of graceful twirls and magical moments, with the most wonderful performances that have left my tutu in a total tizzy.
Pink Tutu & the Trains
This trip to Prague started with a real treat - a romantic train journey, like something straight out of a movie. Picture it: me in a perfectly pink, billowing tulle tutu, sitting next to a window as the rolling green hills of Germany flew past, the sun glinting off the golden turrets of a fairy tale castle! It was truly magical! I've always loved travelling by train, the gentle sway and the calming atmosphere just make me feel utterly content.
Now, about those pink tutus. I knew this trip needed some serious "pinkification" and nothing is more "Emma" than a big pink tulle number, even on a train. The fellow travellers definitely raised eyebrows at first, then they all just started smiling. The power of a good pink tutu! (My mantra for the week!)

On arrival, a fellow tutu enthusiast (my word, they truly are a unique bunch, I just love the "Tutu Tribe"! ) pointed me towards a pony in the nearby square, all dressed up in the most adorable pink saddle and bridle! What do you think happened next? Why, I did what any self-respecting Pink Tutu Girl would do - hopped on that pony and rode a merry little circle!

Alright, down to business! It's Prague and we have ballet! This trip is all about exploring the incredible cultural treasures of the city, particularly its amazing ballet scene. And let me tell you, they don't disappoint! The performance was absolutely breathtaking. The music was a beautiful symphony of classical and modern pieces that perfectly underscored the intricate dance routines. The dancers themselves were truly talented. Each gesture was precise, fluid, and filled with such emotional depth that I was simply captivated!
And of course, the whole thing was happening inside a beautiful, historic theater with ornate ceilings, shimmering chandeliers, and velvet seats. It was a total fairytale.
I've fallen in love with Prague's energy, the stunning architecture, the bustling atmosphere - but above all, the cultural richness, including the world-class ballet! Of course, no trip to Prague would be complete without some serious shopping! This city has truly captured my heart. Every corner, every street is filled with beautifully designed clothes shops. I spent an afternoon lost in the magic of boutiques tucked away on charming backstreets, discovering exquisite vintage finds, and some gorgeous pink balletwear (my favourite!). I even managed to find the most incredible tutu from a little shop tucked away on the city's charming old town square - It’s all about that romantic and ethereal vibe.
And how about that architecture? Absolutely stunning. Prague’s ancient castle is a feast for the eyes, and the beautiful Charles Bridge is a must-visit. Take a walk down its stone-paved pathway, soak in the historical atmosphere and gaze at the city below. It’s absolutely captivating!

Now, it wouldn't be a Pink Tutu blog without some talk about fashion! And Prague, I must say, has certainly lived up to its expectations in that department. The street style in this city is absolutely inspiring! So chic, effortless, and filled with such a vibrant sense of individuality. Every corner reveals another layer of artistic expression, with colourful outfits, stylish scarves, and intricate jewelry designs that showcase a genuine love for fashion and individual expression.
And while I’m on the topic, let me just gush a little about my pink outfits! My mission, of course, is to turn the world pink! I brought my pink ballet wardrobe along for the ride! I paired a billowing tutu with a simple black velvet jacket for a touch of elegance. The pink contrasted perfectly with the gray cobbles of the old city, drawing all eyes towards my playful ensemble. But it wasn’t just about tutus; a beautiful pink, silk dress, delicate and elegant, adorned with pink ballet shoes made me feel utterly graceful. I even tried on a playful pink ballet cardigan, complete with pink ribbon detailing, and some delightful pink polka dot ballet shoes that twirled perfectly on Prague's historic bridges!
