Prague, My Love! ??? #1641

Bonjour, darlings! It's Emma, your favourite pink-tutu-clad travel blogger, back from a whirlwind trip to the most beautiful city in the world - Prague!

I've been longing to visit this magical city for years, ever since I saw a picture of the Charles Bridge all bathed in the warm golden light of sunset. The cobbled streets, the iconic architecture, the vibrant culture… Prague whispered promises of romantic evenings and fairytale adventures.

And guess what, darlings? Prague lived up to every single one of those promises. It's like stepping straight out of a storybook!

But let's rewind a little.

I arrived in Prague by train, naturally, after all, there's no better way to travel than in a carriage on a set of shiny, gleaming tracks. The journey was just as enchanting as the destination! Imagine this, darlings: soft pastel-hued clouds rolling across a vast, clear blue sky as the landscape sped by, a symphony of emerald fields and towering forests painted against the horizon.

Upon arriving, I decided to check into my hotel in a flurry of pink delight. They actually had a beautiful suite with a little balcony, so every morning I could sip my coffee while admiring the views, and it had a wardrobe with more than enough room for all my sparkly tutu ensembles! Talk about feeling right at home. ?

Speaking of tutus, I knew I had to take Prague by storm in a brand new one, so I hit the shops! The first thing I noticed was all the beautiful boutique stores tucked away in the side streets, full of bohemian chic fashion with beautiful textures, lace, and exquisite embroidery. Oh, darling, my heart nearly skipped a beat! And guess what I found? A pink tulle masterpiece, shimmering with crystal embellishments. Of course! I paired it with my trusty vintage beret and a blush-coloured handbag and…well, I felt like a modern-day princess, ready to dance through the streets of Prague!

My first order of business was the iconic Charles Bridge. It was simply breathtaking! The sight of the ancient bridge, its stone arches adorned with statues, and the sparkling Vltava River reflecting the golden evening light…it's a vision I'll never forget! I spent a delightful evening strolling along the bridge, marveling at the art, the street performers, and soaking in the enchanting atmosphere.

Of course, no trip to Prague is complete without a visit to the magnificent Prague Castle. You could get lost for days in its sprawling complex, exploring ancient cathedrals, palaces, and gardens. And let me tell you, the views from the castle are absolutely stunning. Imagine gazing out over the city’s rooftops, the vibrant red-tiled roofs nestled amongst a patchwork of cobbled streets and the towers of the majestic St. Vitus Cathedral piercing the sky! It was like witnessing a piece of history come alive, right before my eyes.

My ballet-loving heart couldn't wait to experience the renowned Prague National Theatre. Imagine a beautifully ornate theatre, steeped in history, with plush velvet seats and magnificent chandeliers that glittered under the warm stage lights. The ballet performance was breathtaking - the dancers graceful and powerful, their movements conveying emotions as delicate as the flower petals they danced upon.

While exploring Prague’s many historical buildings, I was especially charmed by the Old Town Square. The majestic architecture, the astronomical clock, and the bustling energy of the market – all contributed to an atmosphere of sheer magic. It’s truly a sight that needs to be seen to be believed, darlings! Of course, I just had to capture it in photos to remember this perfect afternoon.

And the food! I mean, my sweet tooth was certainly put to the test! From the melt-in-your-mouth Czech pastries and delicious fruit-filled dumplings to the fragrant cinnamon-dusted cakes, everything was absolutely scrumptious.

Speaking of treats, one afternoon I ventured off on a horse-drawn carriage ride. Now, this is where things get truly whimsical, darlings! Imagine being whisked through the city in a gorgeous carriage, the soft jingle of the horses’ bells ringing out as you pass through picturesque squares and cobbled alleyways. We even passed a little group of locals dancing in the street, wearing their beautiful folk costumes and smiling broadly, a delightful image that instantly became my personal memento of Prague.

So, all in all, this trip to Prague has truly surpassed all my expectations. The city was beautiful, the atmosphere electric, and the culture utterly captivating. I came home feeling so refreshed and inspired, ready to share all the beauty I witnessed with you, darlings!

Don’t forget to join me again next week, where I’ll be sharing all my favourite shopping finds and styling tips from my Prague adventures.

Until then, stay fabulous, keep those tutus twirling, and never stop believing in the magic of life! ?

Love, Emma
