The journey here was quite the adventure! You see, after a few weeks of intensive ballet practice back in Derbyshire (you know me, gotta keep those pirouettes sharp!), I decided to trade in my dancing shoes for my trusty travel boots. Now, you'll know that a Pink Tutu traveller always makes an entrance, and this trip was no exception. Instead of the usual train journey (though I must admit, the views of the rolling English countryside always fill me with such a delightful sense of calm), I decided to add a little whimsical flair! I hopped on a train, then transferred to a real-life pony-drawn carriage! The carriage was, of course, a vibrant pink, and the horses were the most magnificent, well-groomed creatures, their manes flowing in the breeze. It was absolutely dreamy!

But the highlight of my Prague adventure was, without a doubt, the Pink Tutu performance. I have to tell you, darlings, the theatre here is a sight to behold! With soaring ceilings, intricate chandeliers, and plush red velvet seating, the atmosphere was utterly captivating. Here in Prague, every corner seemed to echo this sentiment! Walking the cobblestone streets, I discovered a stunning hidden gem: a 19th century vintage dress shop brimming with elegance and allure. The dresses there are like whispered tales from bygone eras, and I knew instantly that a Pink Tutu girl simply had to get a few. It’s amazing to imagine the stories each garment has to tell, and I already feel inspired to create some beautiful new tutus based on the Victorian and Edwardian styles I found!
And you simply must try the local delicacies, darlings! From hearty traditional soups to fluffy, sugar-dusted pastries, each bite was an explosion of flavour and charm. A word of advice – always try the local cakes and pastries, especially the ones with a sprinkle of rose petals. A truly divine experience!
Speaking of special events, tonight, the 25th of November, I’ll be at the Prague Opera House, joining a special charity gala event dedicated to spreading the joy of dance and its beautiful legacy.
