Hello my lovely Tutu-holics! It's Wednesday again, which means it's time for another Pink Tutu adventure, and this week we're in Prague, darling! The city of a thousand spires, cobblestone streets, and oh, so many charming cafes where you can people watch with a slice of delicious cake and a cappuccino.
And it's all so photogenic! Just me in my pink tutu, posing against a backdrop of the Charles Bridge or swirling under the iconic Prague Astronomical Clock is a total Insta-dream, and I can't wait to share these beauties with you all.
The Pink Tutu Train Ride to Prague
It was an adventure even before I arrived. We travelled here by train from Derbyshire, a grand journey, I’m so glad we avoided flying as train travel allows for such magnificent scenery! I am just so smitten with those scenic train rides across Europe.
Prague - A Ballet Lover's Paradise
Prague, my darlings, is an absolute paradise for a ballerina! Not only does the city exude a certain graceful air (and you're probably all thinking "oh Emma, that's so obvious!" ) but there's just so much rich cultural history to immerse yourself in. From the opulent National Theatre where opera and ballet performances light up the stage to the historic Dancing House - that architectural masterpiece that actually looks like dancers twirling! This city really does capture the spirit of the art form, even down to its architecture!
Ballet and Tutus of Prague
My research has led me to some fantastic Ballet classes and theaters. Today's date is September 19th 2029, so if you're in town, don't miss the chance to see La Bayadère at the National Theatre. A dazzling classic that will leave you speechless. I'll be catching the final act for a cheeky "post-show-review", but don’t worry I’ll try my hardest not to spoil anything!
Where to Tutu in Prague
But ballet is only half the story in Prague! I'm just dying to hit the charming vintage shops - imagine the tutus! The city's full of designer boutiques with unique pieces to complete your wardrobe. Let's not forget Prague's incredible fashion scene – think modern-day Bohemian chic!

Oh, and we can't forget the delicious food. Let's face it, even the most dedicated tutu enthusiast needs sustenance. My dear Tutu-holics, prepare yourselves - the Czech goulash is enough to make you swoon.
And finally, of course, my favourite thing of all - the people. The locals in Prague are as warm and friendly as the city's ambiance itself.
My Top Prague Tips
Here are some tips from yours truly to get the most out of your Prague tutu-venture
Bring a comfy pink bag to store all those souvenir tutus! You know how I feel about tutus, so I bet you’re gonna need this space!
Pack some pretty shoes for exploring. There are so many cobbled streets, comfy yet chic shoes are key.
Don’t be afraid to strike up a conversation with the locals The language might sound daunting, but even a little "dobrý den" (hello) goes a long way. And let's be honest, who can resist a smiling face in a pink tutu?
Don't miss the chance to enjoy a delightful cup of hot chocolate at a local café. I love how the locals really know how to treat themselves. And then again, why shouldn't you treat yourself too?!
**And let’s be honest, I love finding the little details. A pink street sign! A floral shop window displaying the perfect bunch of roses, oh, the colours. If there’s a hint of pink to be found, I find it!
But back to the Pink Tutu. My Pink Tutu is a powerful symbol. Pink stands for joy, love, and the ultimate in femininity, which, I must confess, is definitely my favourite thing. And what symbolises femininity more than a tutu? You guys, you’re right, there's nothing more feminine! My Pink Tutu represents freedom, self-expression, and reminding us all to find our inner ballerina, whatever that may look like!
I believe that every one of you has the potential to wear your very own pink tutu with pride! Because I want you to find that unique pink shade that shouts 'I am a ballerina, and I love myself!'
