Hello, my darling darlings! It’s Wednesday, which means it’s time for another instalment of your favourite pink tutu-infused adventures! This week, I’m whisking you away to the magical city of Prague, where cobblestone streets meet gothic architecture, and fairytale castles loom over the city. I’ve arrived here by a whirlwind journey, as is my style! First, I boarded the train in my trusty Derbyshire home – nothing like the smooth, elegant chug of a train to set the tone for an elegant adventure. The carriages seemed to be dancing, as the train swayed to a rhythm only I could hear – like a delicate waltz, just begging for a ballerina to spin her way down the aisle.
Of course, I couldn't simply settle for the mundane when it came to travel attire! My trusty travel tutu – a whimsical pink, with cascading ruffles like whispered promises – paired perfectly with a silk blouse and a jaunty wide-brimmed hat adorned with a playful pink feather. This look is both travel-friendly and stylish, and what's more, I made a new friend on the train! He wore a handsome tweed suit and complimented me on my fabulous tutu, leading to a conversation that spanned everything from the art of ballet to his own fascination with trains! It seems every journey offers a new friendship.
The moment I stepped onto Prague's station platform, a gentle melody filled the air. A charming street musician played a soulful tune on a violin, his music swirling like a cloud of pink champagne. Prague truly embraced me with open arms and the promise of magic.

I've got to tell you, this trip is about more than just the fairy-tale atmosphere; I've come for the grand National Theatre's ballet performance – a much-anticipated treat, my darlings! And this is not just any performance. Tonight, we’re graced with the legendary “Sleeping Beauty,” one of the crown jewels of the classical repertoire! I can't wait to lose myself in the spellbinding story, marvel at the intricate choreography, and, of course, appreciate the breathtaking beauty of the dancers and their tutus! I may be biased, but pink is, without a doubt, the most fitting shade for the ultimate fairy tale.
Before heading to the National Theatre, I embarked on a delightful shopping spree – because who can resist a little pampering? Prague’s charm extends to its charming shops and boutiques, each offering unique treasures waiting to be discovered. From vintage treasures and antique dolls to delicate floral-patterned fabric and a myriad of hand-crafted jewellery, Prague offered me the most amazing selection of items for my wardrobe. It would be impossible to leave Prague without a brand new tutu – a luxurious, hand-beaded masterpiece in the most exquisite shade of pale pink, perfect for the final act of “Sleeping Beauty”.
But my adventures didn't end there! The following day, I wandered the enchanting streets, taking in the grandeur of Prague Castle, where the sun’s golden light glinted off its magnificent turrets. A leisurely walk across Charles Bridge, where each arched stone spoke of stories past, transported me into another realm.
Of course, my quest to make the world a more pink tutu-filled place continues, even here! Prague embraced me with open arms and curious stares, delighted by the splash of colour and the whimsical twirl of my pink tutu. Every conversation with locals, every friendly hello and every passing gaze, I used as a chance to share my love for the pink tutu. One day, perhaps everyone in the world will embrace it, twirl, and radiate the same joyful confidence that a pink tutu can bring!
As the week draws to a close, Prague continues to capture my heart. This vibrant city offers so much to discover, from its fascinating history to its delectable food scene.
