Pink Ballet Tutu Reviews at www.pink-tutu.com

Oh darling, what a month it’s been for dance! So much to talk about, and where to begin? It’s been non-stop for me; galavanting around the globe, catching breathtaking performances from London to Paris to New York. I truly feel I’ve lived a thousand lives in these past few weeks, and you know me – always a woman of exquisite taste, ready to deliver the very best to my adoring audience (that’s you, lovelies!).

Let’s kick off in London, where I’ve always been such a devotee. My heart skipped a beat watching the Bolshoi at the Royal Opera House, they just exude a raw passion and incredible strength I absolutely adore! Their **"Swan Lake"** was truly spectacular, and while I love the grand traditional ballet, I have to say the male corps de ballet in their dazzling white uniforms totally stole the show. I don't know if they knew my eyes were fixed on them, but darling, let me tell you - I just couldn't help myself, the power and artistry was utterly breathtaking. But let's not forget the swans - they truly had us entranced in a performance that sparkled like a dream come true. I know some may say they were slightly "traditional" but there's a magic in knowing they've passed the same technique down generations. Honestly, how chic is it to carry on this tradition of beauty and skill?

I'm always delighted when someone throws a curve ball – like the "young Turks" who are really turning heads, bringing that cool, edgy energy into ballet. I know this might make the older generation shudder, but darling, you can't deny its freshness, and dare I say, an undeniable sex appeal. I found myself in the front row for the **Royal Ballet's "Carmen"** and just - oh! I couldn't tear my eyes away from this phenomenal new talent - Natalia Osipova. Talk about sheer athleticism, such grace and strength. My heart fluttered as she flitted about the stage, completely owning every inch of it! This production is so visually stimulating and with some modern reinterpretations of the traditional - what a perfect marriage between the classical and the new. I really enjoyed that, as a true connoisseur, I love to see what the world of dance is coming up with to inspire and thrill.

It's not always just about the stars though, dear - that's where I always look out for the future generations. The **Royal Ballet School** had their annual summer performances - a wonderful, heart-warming occasion for all of us dance enthusiasts! It's simply delightful to witness those budding talents; so many of the youngsters displayed a natural ease, like they were born for it! You'd think the Royal Ballet was like the most stylish of academies in the whole world, the perfect blend of poise and rigor – and darling, don’t forget the absolutely stunning costumes! Each little danseur dressed in powder-puff pink or peacock blue - simply dazzling!

Of course, my dear, no journey to the world of dance would be complete without a visit to Paris. A touch of whimsy - something truly delightful that stole my heart this time - **"Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon"** at the Opera Garnier. This wasn’t my typical **Ballet National de France** experience, mind you, and let me tell you - this production just threw all of the classical ballet rules out the window, darling! I don't know if it’s my taste but, oh dear, it wasn’t really my cup of tea. A little too outlandish, almost like circus spectacle – but with an air of exquisite couture! What it lacks in “traditional” elegance it made up for in stunningly bold, innovative costume and choreography, making it an interesting conversation piece - if that's your cup of tea.

For a truly classical Parisian experience, nothing beats a **"La Bayadère"** at the **Palais Garnier** , darling. I always feel so decadent in that building; you can practically smell the perfume of a century of artists and the elegance they’ve left behind! The **Ballet de l’Opéra de Paris** is an absolute symphony of artistry – from the elegant, fluid movements to the intricate costumes and flawless makeup, all in shades of ivory, turquoise, and gold. They just leave you with a feeling of perfection! I always get lost in the magic of **"La Bayadère"**, a spectacle that transports me into the heart of India.

However, as much as I love a classic Parisian treat, sometimes you need something a bit bolder, and dear – New York definitely provided that flavor this month! You might know me as a fan of all things glamourous, but my trip to the **American Ballet Theatre's** production of **"The Sleeping Beauty"** in New York opened my eyes (and my heart!) to an alternative elegance - strong and fierce! You could say they are the opposite of a typical graceful ballet but let me tell you, there’s just such passion in each step and powerful use of movement. It's quite the spectacle; they give you a show you won't forget – all this incredible athleticism. I have to admit it took me by surprise - but let’s be honest, darling, who doesn’t love a bit of a thrill! Of course, nothing beats a trip to the Lincoln Center! Those who think the world of **“The Sleeping Beauty”** is only meant to be in opulent settings – that's just plain silly, darling! This fresh and vibrant approach definitely proves there's beauty in bold moves too!

Now darling, I think a trip around the world wouldn't be complete without a bit of something exotic – something completely unique! Imagine my delight when I discovered **"Trance Dance"** in Tokyo at the **Bunka Kaikan Hall** by the legendary **Shimako Harada**, which had my imagination in a complete swirl! I found myself fascinated by this new language of dance, this mystical performance. She takes inspiration from the traditional Japanese kabuki theater and transforms it into her own enchanting world of movement – this ballet just seems to float, darling. I felt a genuine sense of peace watching the ballet dancers move like a silent, slow motion storm. I was hypnotized. This performance, I have to tell you, made me question the boundaries between the traditional and contemporary – and let me tell you, that’s always a good thing, especially in the world of art.

I always relish in exploring all facets of dance, be it ballet or modern dance - and dear, the world of dance never stops surprising me, which I absolutely love! And I hope I've painted a picture for you - the kind of gorgeous art that takes your breath away. And there are more stories yet to tell about all the amazing work that's happening, because you know, dear, I'm just a phone call or a train ride away from the next beautiful ballet performance.

My loves, keep those toes pointed and your eyes glued to the stage! As for me, well I can't wait to explore the world again, to catch a new show and maybe even be a part of something breathtaking. Until next time my darlings, be glamorous and, well, don't forget to twirl!
