Paris: Oui, darling! The City of Love always delivers. The Paris Opera Ballet is a veritable treasure trove of beauty. I adore this ballet company â there's such a touch of elegance and panache that is simply unique. This month, theyâll be hosting the captivating Giselle and La Bayadère, both renowned for their sheer beauty and masterful choreography. La Bayadère in particular, a story of passion, sacrifice, and the mystical power of the Temple Dancer, it is positively enthralling. They donât call this company the Paris Opera Ballet for nothing!
If you find yourself with an evening free and a taste for something new, I strongly suggest visiting the Chaillot-National Dance Centre, it's such a hidden gem, truly divine. They are hosting an enchanting contemporary piece that is simply exquisite and a true testament to the artistry of contemporary dance.
Prague: Ah, Prague, the heart of Bohemia. I find it rather endearing â they're quite modest, yet incredibly passionate. I recommend heading to the National Theatre to see their version of the classic ballet, The Nutcracker.
