I’ve got a whole load to tell you about, from amazing shows to delicious pasta, but first, let’s talk about my journey! You know, I’m all about embracing the train life. There's just something so romantic about pulling up to a new city, catching that fresh scent of the place – sigh! Plus, who doesn't love a little tutu travel style? It just brings the magic, you know?
This Wednesday, I'm sharing the most glorious pink tutu outfit! It's a fluffy pastel tulle number that makes me feel like a sugarplum fairy – perfect for exploring the vibrant Roman streets! Let's just say, there were a few head-turns and smiles.
Now, let's get down to business, shall we? This week, I dove straight into the world of Roman ballet. My favourite place so far is the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma. This theatre, oh my! I mean, the architecture alone was worth the trip. It was so ornate and grand, it almost took my breath away! But wait for it, because the performances were even more spectacular. They had this show called Swan Lake, and you wouldn't believe it, they actually had the water scene!* I practically cried from the sheer brilliance of it all. They truly know how to bring the magic, swoon.
Of course, no trip to Rome would be complete without a little shopping spree. And boy, did I have a good time! I was searching high and low for the perfect vintage pink tulle. I managed to find a treasure trove tucked away in a hidden alley near the Pantheon. Now, you all know I love a good treasure hunt, and let me tell you, finding a beautiful pink tulle piece in an ancient alleyway – truly, my friends, it doesn’t get any more romantic! I also treated myself to a few exquisite accessories. Imagine delicate pearl earrings and a silky pink scarf! Perfect for bringing my tutu looks to the next level, darling!
Of course, there were so many more pinktastic discoveries on my Roman adventure. The food here is an absolute dream. From the perfect gelato to pasta that will leave you speechless, there are enough culinary delights to fill a pink-tutu sized feast.
The energy of this city is electric. It’s a melting pot of creativity and culture, just like my tutu travels!
