Well hello darlings! It's Wednesday, which means it's time for another Pink Tutu post, and guess what?! I'm in Rome! Yes, you heard me right, this little pink ballerina is soaking up the sunshine and ancient vibes in the Eternal City!
It’s a long way from Derbyshire, but the train journey was fab – I’m such a train lover! I’m just obsessed with being able to look out the window at all the passing scenery, plus it's the perfect time for people watching. My little secret: I always wear my lucky pink fluffy bunny ears on the train, it brings me good fortune and helps to ward off any train delays (fingers crossed!).
As for this week's outfit, darling, it had to be something that screamed “Rome”. A flowing pink floral maxi dress with a little sparkle detail, a hot pink bow tied around my neck, and my trusty pink tutu, of course, adding a splash of that fabulous pink tutu pizzazz! And just because I knew I’d be doing a lot of walking and sightseeing, I also slipped on some chic pink trainers, perfect for comfort and style.
Arriving in Rome felt like stepping into a fairytale – the bustling streets, the ancient buildings, the scent of delicious Italian food...it was magical! My very first stop was to have a little mooch around the shops. And what do you know? I found a fabulous pink tutu boutique! It was like heaven. Every shade imaginable, all kinds of tulles and trims - it was pure tutu paradise!
I've just popped back to my little boutique hotel - a gorgeously old, romantic place tucked away on a quiet side street. Think wisteria cascading over the courtyard and a delicious breakfast buffet. Oh, and did I mention the stunning balcony overlooking the city? Pure dreamy vibes, darling.
Now, I wouldn't be a Pink Tutu blogger if I didn't mention the ballet. Tonight, I’m off to see La Traviata at the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma. Oh, how exciting! I'm already envisioning exquisite costumes, elegant moves, and of course, that pink tutu on stage – well, at least I hope there's one, right?!

- Morning: After a sumptuous Italian breakfast, I'm going to wander through the historic city centre. The Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain, and the Pantheon are just a few of the incredible sights on my list today.
- Lunch: An authentic Roman lunch is a must! I can’t wait to try the spaghetti alla carbonara and a glass of delicious Italian wine!
- Afternoon: After a relaxing lunch, it's shopping time! I can already smell the latest Italian fashion finds... and I'm not just talking about pink tutus, darling!
- Evening: La Traviata! The anticipation is almost killing me, I cannot wait for this show, oh my!
